My 7 year old son needed help in reading comprehension, and his speech therapist recommended him to send Sylvan. This is his 3rd month going there and we have seen great improvement in his reading and understanding. Great staff at Bell Rd location

Our daughter is right at the age where she turns 5 after the school year starts, but could test to start kindergarten early. We brought her into Sylvan to help her gain some confidence in the learning environment and a stronger grasp on her alphabet and simple reading skills. Her tutors were absolutely amazing at identifying what she needed to work on and made learning fun for her! She wanted to practice all she was learning with us every chance she got! Thanks to the great atmosphere Sylvan created around learning and the encouragement they offered our daughter, she went into her early entrance exam with confidence and was one of the very few students who passed! We could not recommend them enough for parents and caregivers who want to supplement their child’s learning!

My teenage daughter needed help with understanding her algebra class and homework! Within a few weeks her test scores improved, she has been getting lots of help with her homework and she leaves every time happy, more confident and excited to take her next algebra test! Sylvan has been a huge blessing!

My daughter has been in their program for only a month and already there has been a drastic change to her attitude towards reading. She now is interested in reading chapter books and is excited about participating in lessons at school where she used to feel unable to. She is able to understand word questions more easily and her stress levels and self esteem have improved greatly. I would highly recommend this program for anyone who has a child struggling to understand lessons in school. It’s truly worth it. Staff is super friendly and lessons are tailored to help your child learn at their pace.

The staff is courteous, kid-Friendly & accommodating to my child’s individual needs. Progress will be based on how often your child attends and Id be lying to say that I’ve seen overnight success. However, writing for my child has definitely improved since attending Sylvan. He is a 5th grader that benefits from the one on one instruction not always available in the classroom at school. He prefers Sylvan over other tutoring avenues we have tried in the past because they really strive to make learning fun and rewarding.
