Great fast service! Came to get an oil change in the evening, so they were able to check my vehicle very quickly as I was the only customer there. They informed me that based on the last oil brand and formulation that I selected, that I didn’t need one. I still had over 4K miles to go before my next oil change was needed. But they gave me the option to either get it done that day or return later. I chose to come back later, so they went ahead and checked the tires and the fluids. Refilled those that needed it. Overall, they saved me money, were very informative and stayed focused on providing me with the best customer service! Highly recommend
Miata RF, so you know what employees I am speaking to. Lies. Deception. Lazy. Scared. Incompetence are the words that come to mind for an inept staff. I had a previous oil change there so went back. Pulled in on a Thursday evening. Should have seen the red flags with statements of, I've never serviced 1 of these before. Then to be told we don't have the oil filter for this even the inventory says we have one. We can't find it. We can order it or you can drive 20 miles to another location. I said to order it and they agreed to. Pull in a week later to be told, we don't have an oil filter for this car and cannot order it. "No Take 5 carries it." You need to go to a dealership for this type of car, I was told. I drove 2 minutes to Valvoline and had a wonderful service experience AND paid $75 less for my oil change. I recommend saving yourself money and grief and going 2 minutes away and giving your business to Valvoline in Saginaw, TX. I only gave 1 star to be able to share my horrible experience with an inept oil change business. If I could, it would be less than 0 stars. I am in awe that they have an over 4 stars review! Feel like bots are giving them that. Current staff should be fired and replaced with competent people for this business to survive.
Arrived and was told 3 cars ahead of me so it would be 30 minutes… I told him I’ll wait if he truly means 30 minutes and he assured me. It was an hour before my hood was open (I asked the same guy the “new manager “ what happened to time frame and he acted as if that was first time he ever spoke to me) and another 25 minutes before pulling out. It just seems quicker to go back to mom and pops businesses or other places with appointments than waiting it out at any Take 5 business if preferring a quick turnaround time as they claim.
Took my 2007 Honda CRV to the tech five oil change facility in Saginaw Texas have been to dislocation many times but this time I could tell there have been many changes And are not very welcomed. There was a car in each bay getting serviced and it took about 20 minutes to get me into one of the bays. I sat for another 20 minutes before anyone popped the hood and began servicing my car. I noticed the technicians talking among themselves about some kind of contest and they Were ahead of the locations made me wonder if I was about to have a big sales job heading My way. There was a gentleman wearing a jacket with the name Ken on it that was going from car to car up selling different services and when he came to my car, the first words out of his mouth was, he refused to put conventional motor oil in my car, even though the same facility has done it for years. Was kind of funny since I didn’t even tell him what type of oil change I wanted, but played along and asked him why. He mentioned since it was a Japanese car Japanese cars do not take conventional oil which I found hilarious, but have began driving my car a lot more miles each week with work I am doing so I agree to the synthetic mid-level oil change not very good optics with this facility. I noticed the same gentleman using a vape while cars were being serviced and also smoking cigarettes Right in front of the bay as . I fully understand the business model is to upsell extra features as in my case I was trying to be up sold to do a rare flush, which I had just done a few months earlier at a different location. Beware the oil change does not include a filter which is going to run you another $15-$20 On top of the oil change price. All in all it took an hour at least for a simple oil filter change so if you are in a hurry, I would not recommend this location and you probably will not get that cozy. Customer comes first feeling as should be in a service industry like this not sure I’m going to come back to this location anytime soon, but was in the area. There are a few other oil change companies around this one that I will probably go to move forward whoever owns this franchise location probably needs to get their employees. Some customer service training and work on time management skills to get customers in and out quicker which in return will only help the business grow And have better customer satisfaction.
Oil change on a Sunday, the technicians were fine. Next day I could smell oil every time I stopped at a light. Pulled up to a customers house to do my work and came out to a stream of oil showing from u see my truck. Went back Wednesday to have them look/fix. They claimed the weekend crew reused the oil drain plug gasket and did not pressure check correctly or long enough, more or less throwing them under the bus. Wednesday technicians showed me the drain plug along with the new gasket, pressure check what seemed to be the same length of time the Sunday crew did. And I left to another job of mine. Pulled up and stayed parked in the street to make sure I wasn’t going to leak oil on customers driveway. And lo and behold my oil is still leaking in the same manor it was when I left Take 5 on Sunday. Thank giving passes and I manage to make it back to Take 5 on Friday and the same technicians are there and look at my truck again, this time with a different story telling me the oil plug is fine and the oil is somehow leading down to the plug making it look like the drain plug is leaking. Now when I showed up initially on Sunday to get the oil change done in the first place, not one mention of leaking oil or issues were presented to me, other then my rear axle seal was leaking and fluid was low. Nothing about leaking oil. I’ve never left a puddle or even a stain at any of my customers houses driveways up until this oil change. Yet they’re telling me it’s the oil pan gasket. And now having to go get it all done again at a reputable show along with possibly a new oil pan because, let’s face it here, your technician cross threaded my drain plug and now does not seal properly. I guess we’ll now see if I have to get an attorney involved and be refunded or compensation for this inconvenience. I drive nearly 200 miles a day. This is every bit an inconvenience and time wasted dealing with getting my truck fixed now and the bill will be hefty.
