OMGAAAAAWD THE FRUIT FILLED WHAT EVER THEY ARE......ARE AAAAAMAZING!!!!! seen this Instagram trend and this place has it! I got 1 of each. I did pay $150+ for all thats pictured in the boxes. They need to be in the fridge. I absolutely love them. All of them. You have to go and try them. Its street parking only and they only have four chairs and a table I believe. So you have to take it to go. The staff is suuuuuper nice and I was so excited to finally get my hands on these. You HAVE to try them. They're made with a hard chocolate butter coating and a fruit mousse inside with real fruit in the middle. They are a bit expensive but totally worth it. Can't wait to go back.

Tarts de Feybesse – Oakland
I was excited to try Tarts de Feybesse, the new spot that just opened across the street from my building, and overall it was a mixed but worthwhile experience.
I ordered two of their fruit-shaped trompe l’oeil desserts: coconut and lemon. Visually, both were absolutely stunning, true works of art. Flavor-wise, the lemon was the standout: bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced, tart but not overly so, and not too sweet either. That said, at $12 each, these desserts feel like an overpriced but decadent indulgence. The coconut, while fine, didn’t stand out and wasn’t particularly memorable for the price.
I also tried the Jambon-Beurre, a classic French baguette with butter and cooked ham. The butter and ham themselves were very tasty and high quality, but the sandwich leaned heavily toward bread and butter with only a couple of strips of ham. At $13.50, I would have appreciated a bit more generosity with the ham.
My absolute favorite item was the scallion and egg pastry. It’s a flaky, cup-shaped pastry topped with a poached egg, scallions, and Calabrian chili oil. Every bite was savory, flavorful, and well-balanced. This one is a must-have, and at $8.50, it’s appropriately priced and absolutely worth a return visit on its own.
A few logistical notes: there is outdoor seating, but parking is challenging, and be prepared to stand in line, often with the line extending onto the sidewalk. Online ordering isn’t very convenient either, you must order three days in advance, and there’s no same-day pickup option.
Overall beautiful pastries but with pricing that leans toward “special treat” rather than everyday bakery. Definitely worth the experience.

Cute little bakery, they have space to sit outside and inside though it’s small. The pastries look visually spectacular though lacking in flavor imo. The strawberry one was best out of the ones I picked. It has a mousse inside, I could the butter in there and strawberries mixed in with. The sesame on it added a nice taste to it. The coconut was similar to strawberry but with coconut flavor. The opera cake was a bit too sweet. The cheesecake was ok too. In terms of taste of all the desserts we got I think the flavors can be more amped up. The flavors of whatever we got maybe other than the strawberries seemed weak. The sweetness of the desserts overall other than the opera and carrot cake was fine. The drinks were okay too. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the baked pastry. The service was very nice and the people behind the counter were very helpful in explaining what the desserts were, and which one would be more suited to our palette.

The tarts are amazing but definitelty some hits and misses.
Got the apple, banana, mango, hazelnut and some tarts.
Overall place is cool because you get to watch them bake!
Outdoor seating area is nice and clean.

The desserts at are visually incredible and the overall experience is top-notch. They are truly works of art.
But this week's experience made me think: Over $100 for a family snack (4 people)? With the cheesecake slice at $9 and the coconut sweet at $15, the price point turns the purchase into an event, not a regular habit.
The Challenge: Without customer loyalty and recurrence, the business loses momentum long-term. The product is a 10/10, but the pricing needs to be reconsidered so that we can come back more often.
