We held our annual company dinner at The GlassHouse in San Jose, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Rachelle, our sales concierge and event planner, was exceptional, she ensured every detail was taken care of and made the entire planning process seamless. The venue itself is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The team truly went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. Highly recommend for any special event or corporate gathering
honestly it is a cool venue. however the downstairs bathroom is a little questionable. the doors to the stalls are camouflaged with the walls so it can be confusing. there are also no hooks on the doors so i had to hang my bag on the handle. upstairs bar ran out of plates for the snacks
We held our wedding at the Glasshouse recently and can’t stop reliving the day. From the moment we set foot at The Glasshouse, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding. The venue itself is simply breathtaking. With its floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a serene and airy atmosphere that feels both intimate and expansive. Every corner of The Glasshouse was picture-perfect, and the clean, modern aesthetic offered endless possibilities for decor. The space is versatile and adaptable, allowing us to personalize it in a way that felt uniquely ours. There is also a patio outside perfect for cocktail hour. It’s also situated walking distance from all the major DTSJ bars/clubs so access to an after party to readily accessible. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue to celebrate our special day. The staff at The Glasshouse went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our wedding was flawless. From the very beginning, they were incredibly attentive, helping us with every step of the planning process. On the day of our wedding, the team was professional, warm, and always there when we needed them. Thank you so much to Savanah, Whitney and Oswaldo for all that they do. They made sure everything ran smoothly, so we could relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. We loved our experience at Glasshouse, and there is one individual that we would like to specifically mention. Our event coordinator, Savanah, was incredible and really made the entire process and day as memorable as can be. From the moment she took over for our previous coordinator, Savanah exceeded all of our expectations and brought a level of dedication, care, and professionalism that made our wedding day unforgettable. Our previous coordinator was nice but often offered empty platitudes. We didn’t feel like she really heard our questions or request and would often have to remind her of our previous conversations and agreement, also constantly having to send reminders for updates - she is no longer with the venue. When Savanah took over, it was a huge blessing. We had actually met Savanah prior when we were touring the venue and loved working with her instantly but the event coordination was handled by the previous coordinator at the time. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Savanah take over as our event coordinator. She was personable, responsive, and always available for questions. Savanah’s attention to detail, communication, and responsiveness was second to none. She made sure every aspect of our wedding was flawlessly executed, from the smallest decor elements to the smooth coordination of the entire event. It was clear that she not only understood our vision, but also cared deeply about bringing it to life in the best way possible. Beyond her exceptional organizational skills, Savanah’s kindness, generosity, and personable character made for a truly exceptional experience. She was always there for us, offering support and coordinating with our wedding coordinators to make sure everything was well thought out and ran smoothly. Her thoughtful approach and genuine care for us made the entire planning process a pleasure. We always felt at ease knowing we had such a competent and compassionate professional in our corner. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and more, and we owe so much of that to Savanah. Even after the wedding, she was still checking in on us to make sure everything was what we hoped it would be and even went out of her way to offer us her congratulations. What more can we say to express how much we loved working with Savanah except simply thank you for making our wedding day the best we could have imagined. We are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you, and we could not recommend you more highly for all to-be-newlyweds. Savanah is a gem, and we will always remember her as an integral part of our special day.
The Glass House is AMAZING! The venue, the food, and the staff are all five stars. I engaged the Glass House for our non-profit fundraiser and they outdid themselves. From working with us patiently on our menu, perfectly capturing our vision, and even staying meticulously to our color scheme of pink and green (down to the lighting!), they were phenomenal partners. I highly recommend them, and can’t wait to work with them again. Don’t give away my date for 2025! ;-)
Just had my vow renewal here and wanted to do a review for anyone looking at using this venue. The venue is beautiful I found them on one of the wedding platforms. That said, the experience was stressful because amounts were changed multiple times and even day of, I was told that I should've been charged for cake cutting/serving as well as the use of the bridal and groomsmen's room, despite their rep Christa telling us these things where included free of charge. Additionally, those fees weren't mentioned in the contract nor in my multiple communications with the coordinators of the space. Here is my review that you should consider if you are planning an event here. Pros -Beautiful open space that you can turn into anything you want -Nice seating -Linens and plates professionally done with extra touches for the napkins that were nice. -Food was tasty and well seasoned (though mine was lukewarm). -Bar was set up professionally and cash bar prices were good for my guests. - Furniture aesthetic was nice (however the use of the luxury pieces was extra if you want guests to see them). -Ruby was great day of and leading up to the event once she took over for Christa. She supported us to ensure things were honored that were originally promised and that our event was nice. Cons -Communication was difficult because several people were involved that were not on the same page. -Tour was conducted while we were setting up for the wedding which felt crass and insensitive. Contractually this was not stated that this is something they could do. During Corona, it freaked me out that random people were in our space during set up without masks. (Rebecca apologized later for this which I appreciated). -At the end of our event they had another party setting up and moving us out before we were even done tearing down. We were originally told the space would be ours for the day and there were no other parties. This did not feel good and felt extremely unprofessional. My husband was thoroughly annoyed to put it lightly. Overall I would say that for the cost it was worth the various issues. If you plan to do an important event here, make sure you are in close communication with your coordinator and read your contract carefully. I found charges that weren't supposed to be there that they later removed per my request. Hopefully this helps anyone considering booking this beautiful space. J
