The Long Room is a fantastic location for an event! We have held our holiday party at the Long Room for two years now, and both events were fantastic. The event space is gorgeous, and the set up - bar and tables downstairs, more casual gathering spaces upstairs - helps to keep the flow of the event moving. The staff is extremely helpful and involved, and they go above and beyond to ensure that the event is a success. Highly recommend this space for your event.
We just had our wedding at TLR, and the entire experience was truly seamless from start to finish. From my very first inquiry over a year ago, to the final planning meetings, to walking in on the wedding day and seeing everything exceed my expectations—TLR delivered every step of the way. During the event, we were actually able to relax and enjoy ourselves, yet anytime we needed something, the staff were easy to find and incredibly helpful. The add-ons and accommodations were reasonably priced, and all payments were communicated clearly and transparently. I especially loved the upstairs loft — affectionately known as the “green room” — with its classic Chesterfield sofa, offering a beautifully elevated spot for quiet conversation or an intimate gathering away from the main floor. The Long Room team — Megan, Matthew, and Sarah — were an absolute pleasure to work with. They’re friendly, accommodating, and effortlessly professional, with a calm “no problem” approach that made every detail flow smoothly. High recommend this event space! My husband and I had our wedding at The Long Room in 2024. It was the first wedding TLR hosted and it was beautifully done. Matt and Sarah are lovely hosts and were easy to work with. They were almost as enthusiastic as we were! We had around 80 guests and were able to seat people upstairs and downstairs while still having a wonderful and comfortable cozy atmosphere. We even had our wedding photos done in the outdoor area which gave us an edgy industrial / city backdrop. They were so flexible with us on a very stressful day and helped figure out any road bumps that came up.
My partner and I recently held our elopement celebration with 100 of our friends and family at TLR in September. From the moment we did a tour many months ago we knew it was the perfect venue for our vision. Not only is the space wonderfully designed, with high quality features and thoughtful details but the owners and staff are some of the friendliest folks I encountered in my venue search. We also love the fact that they have a variety of furniture and equipment that's included in the rental and let's not forget the insane lighting system and magical auto play piano! You can even get dance lessons as an addition package to surprise your guests with a first dance. We just loved all of the customization options! We also rented the adjacent enclosed lot (the burnout room) so that our guests had some space to spread out and lounge, and to make room for the band indoors. We loved the fact that we could customize the details of our event and we weren't locked in to any dining or bar packages. These were all determining factors for us; flexibility, customization, and uniqueness. Megan worked with us every step of the way and was always there to answer my silly questions and make sure all of the details were confirmed. She was kind and helpful towards all of our vendors and thought of things I would have completely overlooked. Bring without a planner, I could not have pulled any of this off without her. The day of the event she was right there with us bright and early and stayed right to the very end. She even helped us get all the vendors wrapped up and the place clean so we could keep the party rolling. She was truly incredible
