Honestly….this place exceeded my expectations. The only reasons I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the chairs are super uncomfortable, and the drink I had was a bit sour, but would probably be great to someone else. The food….the service….EXQUISITE. Please get the short ribs for your entree - legit dream about them. I wish I knew how to cook it exactly like this!
I had high expectations coming here and I was a little disappointed. First the chair that we had was uncomfortable to sit on. It had the wicker type material that dipped down in the center and offered no butt support. Maybe it is suitable for bigger persons but I did not like it. I likes the craft cocktail. The ceviche appetizer we had was good but I thought the fish was swimming in the soup (sauce). The bread/ toast that was supposedly made on site was too dry for the tartare. The mahi-mahi was over done. We had 2 plates on the table and it’s such a shame they were very dry. The only dish I really enjoyed was the one with the bone marrow. Other than that I’m really sad that I couldn’t recommend the place.
Great great food! Flavors are amazing ⭐️ my party and i got the pulpo appetizer, the tinga and guacamole they are five star. We got the short ribs 5 star and the chile relleno was a three star. But amazing food. The atmosphere and place is so beautiful but it’s hot inside really hot. And it’s hard to speak because it gets really loud. Lastly the dessert was a four star. Would definitely recommend and come back.
The value for the food and experience you receive is good. It’s obviously more expensive than any regular restaurant but it’s a nice try once kind of place. I had the Tetela which was yummy and definitely would recommend for a first timer. I also got the beef short rib and maybe I’m not the most experienced in short ribs but it had sooo much fat. There was also equal amount of meat on the bone though. Where my heart broke were the tortillas. They serve you flour tortillas with the short rib and it was those fake flour tortillas that overpower the taste of everything. I do recommend the sangria! It was yummy and refreshing. Also, the vibe is cool, the restrooms are fun and so is the music. I would return to this place as a happy hour stop, but not sure if I’d come back and dine.
We dined last night and were blown away by the hospitality and expertise of the bartenders. They were incredibly accommodating, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about their recommendations. Each cocktail was thoughtfully crafted, and the bar menu offered inventive, delicious options that complemented the evening perfectly. The meals were out of this world, cannot recommend enough. The sauces were some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. A standout experience from start to finish—we’ll definitely be back for the excellent service and fantastic drinks.
