This place is a hit or a miss. The service depends on who you see. We had good experiences with some NPs or PAs and not a good experience with others. I don't think we ever saw an MD. The front desk staff is usually nice but we encountered a rude lady on a recent visit. And the wait times vary, so you might be seen quickly or wait an hour or two.
Came in for urgent care appointment, have been having neuropathy that had worsened over the weekend. The staff seemed accommodating at first, listened to my concerns etc. Told them about an X-ray I had had done that showed some spine narrowing and that I thought maybe that’s what was causing my neuropathy. X-rays were done, all of that went smoothly. Was back in the room maybe five minutes and the doctor came back to tell me there’s some definite spine narrowing, but nothing was “being crushed”, I was then given a prescription for neuropathy pain and told that I could leave. I was very confused by this as I came in to figure out why I was having this neuropathy, not to confirm my spine was narrowing, but it seemed like they were brushing me off at that point. Frustrating to say the least. The staff seemed like they had no interest in helping me at all. Only bright spot was the X Ray tech was very kind. The doctor/nurse weren’t rude in any sort of way, just seemed uninterested in my problem and wanted me out the door as quickly as possible.
I “reserved” a time to be seen that was enough time for me to drive to the clinic and I was seen when I arrived. Nikki is an excellent provider. She listened to me and addressed my concerns with respect. She was very thorough in her exam and the follow up phone call. After one day of the prescribed treatment, I am feeling a little bit better. The ancillary staff was just as great as Nikki. I am lucky my insurance covers UCHealth because I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for care.
I am not one of those people who complain or give bad reviews, but I really do think it is crucial to review this place.I went to urgent care on September 20th, because I was feeling really bad , my lungs were tight, the receptionist really friendly, and everything seemed fine at first. I got taken to the room and the MA did not take my vitals correctly, they asked me how much do you think you weigh, how tall do you think you are, I found that weird because I am studying to become an MA and I know how important your weight and height is in order to give a correct dosage amount for medications and in general. They then took me to get some X- Ray's, woman who took my x rays was wonderful as well. I then came back and put me on one round of neubilizer treatment for asthma , and I did feel a little better , better than before but not at my 100%,. The Doctor or person in charge then asked me if a felt better , I said I did , and I obviously felt better than before but not 100%. The worst part is they then told me I had PNUEMONIA, which is ridiculous, I got scared and they prescribed me some medications which I got sent to the pharmacy and I had to pay out of pocket, they were like 60 dollars in total. The person in charge did not even check my lungs or hear if I felt better or if I needed better care, I honestly find it surprising how they did not even verify if I needed more treatments or needed more care, I honestly would've rathered them tell me "You know what you should go to emergencies ,you will need way more care than we can give you here. " That wasn't professional at all and I please do hope this gets resolved and someone else does not get the same care I received here. I ended up going to emergencies at 1 am that night because of how bad I felt, they had me pay for medications I didn't even need , and the money is obviously lost now and I am not doing so good on money because I have college which I am paying for , and I now also have to pay for the horrible service. I am extremely disappointed .
The service offered was marvellous—from the medical team to the nurses, technicians, and cleaners. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional care I received during my stay. Every member of the team demonstrated not only professionalism but also genuine kindness and compassion, which made all the difference in my recovery. Your dedication, attention to detail, and tireless efforts do not go unnoticed. It is clear that everyone here is committed to providing not just medical treatment, but also comfort and reassurance to patients and their families. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to all involved. You made a difficult time much easier to bear, and for that, I will always be thankful. Wagner ( Spain )
