The best of the best of the best! I won’t take my Shepherd ANYWHERE but here! Gage has a special temperament and the staff here know exactly how to handle him! Dr. Wolfe, Dr. Bianca, Erin, Jessie and Matt are absolutely fantastic! Matt took extra time in ensuring Gage was comfortable while he stayed overnight and he made sure that this fur mama was kept up to date on every step of the treatment process! Thank you for treating Gagey bear like he was your own! ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Please AVOID Underhill Animal Hospital if you value your time and money! This is a long review based on multiple experiences over two years. I want to begin by saying that the actual vets (the doctors) seem competent, but everything else about this practice seems like they’ve figured out a way to turn incompetence into revenue. I’m not the type of person to leave reviews for businesses, but two years of going to Underhill with two dogs revealed a pattern of incompetence among the support staff and techs in ways that would conveniently generate more revenue for the business. In just two years, we experienced the following issues: • One of our dogs was having a procedure with sedation. Because our dog was already going to be sedated, we asked for dental cleaning to also happen during the procedure, and we were told that this would be ‘no problem,’ that it was a routine request, and we would be billed for that add-on (because the sedation is the expensive and risky part of it). However, after they brought our dog out of sedation, they told us that they forgot about the dental cleaning and we wouldn’t be charged for it. But we would have to schedule ANOTHER sedation with all of the costs and risks to do the dental cleaning that they forgot. This is going to cost us an extra $1,000 when all is said and done. • We were double billed for a procedure and only got them to correct the mistake after bringing in the printed receipt from their office. (It was only part of the overall procedure, so I’m guessing that they were hoping we would the couple hundred bucks twice and not notice.) • When doing some vaccines, we were never told that one of the vaccines needed another shot. No mention of it at checkout, no mention when picking the dog up, nothing on the paperwork. At the next checkup, they said we missed the second dose, so we needed to start over and pay for the full series again. • They mixed up our two dogs’ vaccine records, and we were told the only way to fix that would be to do the vaccines again when it was time (meaning we’d end up having to pay 6 months earlier for one dog than we should have). • The front office has huge issues with scheduling appointments: not only do they routinely run VERY late (we had a morning appointment and still had to wait HOURS – more than once!), we also experienced the joy of showing up for confirmed appointments only to be told that we were wrong – trying to gaslight us into thinking that we made mistakes. When we showed them their own confirmation email, they then said essentially, “I don’t know why it’s confirmed, but that person isn’t here today”. The number of problems we had with appointments in just two years was staggering – these aren’t isolated incidents: there is a clear pattern of not being able to rely on Underhill for appointments. In addition to the sheer frustration of it all, this was missed time at work. (P.S. Look at other reviews – this isn’t just me: this is a widespread issue – it will happen to you, too!) The vets at Underhill did a good job with caring for our dogs and diagnosing and treating a condition when one popped up (that's why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 star). No complaints there. But the overall experience of taking our dogs to Underhill was FRUSTRATING and EXPENSIVE – much more so than it had any right to be. I would recommend you avoid Underhill for your pets unless they clean house and get an entirely new staff – one that can do basic things like appointments and billing properly – including techs that don’t forget to do scheduled procedures! Our dogs won’t be going back here, and I hope yours won’t either.
This morning November 29th I was contacted and asked to move my rabbit Bean’s spay appointment—scheduled for December 1st—only two days before the procedure. This will be the sixth rabbit of mine your clinic has seen, and as a long-time client and experienced rabbit owner, I was very surprised and disappointed by how the situation was handled. I expressed that the last-minute change creates a significant inconvenience, especially after waiting over a month for this appointment. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concerns were met with empathy by the receptionist, Hailey, or by Courtney, who later informed me that Dr. Wolf was canceling the appointment entirely because I requested a discount to help offset the disruption to my schedule. I am deeply disappointed by this response. I was simply asking for some accountability and understanding regarding the inconvenience caused by the clinic. Instead, I feel I was dismissed as a client. I expect professionalism, empathy, and respect, especially given my long history with your practice, and I hope this matter can be reconsidered and addressed appropriately.
Had a handful of rabbits spayed with this clinic. We had a rabbit booked to be fixed for about 3-4 weeks as that was the earliest they could get her in. Had to move work around to make it happen. Get a call 2 days before the appointment saying it has to be moved to a date another 3 WEEKS away because of a scheduling issue on their end, their employee hadn't scheduled it properly. We were obviously upset as we'd been waiting a while, and asked about any earlier options or compensation as this is a huge inconvenience not to mention losing wages taking time off work. We were told by Haley and Courtney that they would talk to a manager and call back. No problem. They called back and said they didn't like the way we were speaking to them and they refuse to do the surgery altogether. Nobody raised their voice or cursed at the staff in any way, just audibly frustrated which I think is understandable. As a customer, we have a right to be upset due to a last minute schedule change that is of no fault to ours. We lost weeks waiting for the appointment when she needed fixing. It's pretty clear Dr. Wolfe and the team don't need your business and don't care about wasting your time. Lord forbid you're unhappy with their service or they'll tell you never to come back.
Every doctor, nurse and receptionist have been nothing more than kind! I feel so reassured Olive will be safe when I take her there. Highly recommend!
