The staff were compassionate and clear in their explanations. The facility is clean and professional. My cats were treated well throughout. The vet tech was gentle with my cats and remained focused on their emotional well-being. The vet talked me through several potential reasons for the symptoms I was concerned about and demonstrated how I could help one cat lose weight. I deeply appreciated the staff's immediately loving attitude towards my cats!

As a first-time dog owner, I’m so grateful to have found UAVH. The entire team is incredibly kind, patient, and always so accessible by phone or email, which has been incredibly reassuring. They respond quickly to my concerns and have helped address all medical issues my rescue had. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been wonderful, and it’s clear they truly care about their patients.

Dr. Hereda and team took incredible care of our dog, Basil, while she was sick. She even came in on the weekend and called us often to make sure we were updated on Basil’s care. They worked seamlessly with MedVet to get to the root of her problem. They were honest and fair throughout the whole process. Basil is doing so much better now. Thank you UA vet hospital for being so kind and putting up with Basil’s craziness during this stressful situation!

Our little family recently went through a very frightening experience when our kitten Calcifer suddenly developed a dangerously high fever of unknown origin. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Wildman and the entire team treated both Calcifer and us with such genuine care and compassion. We truly thought we were going to lose our sweet little guy, as his white blood cell count was practically nonexistent. He was rapidly deteriorating, and ended up requiring a few overnight stays. Dr. AJ Wildman, along with staff members Lisa, Sophia, and the overnight on-call staff, went above and beyond in monitoring him closely during his stay, keeping us informed, and making sure he was comfortable and receiving the best care possible. Dr. Gorby was the first veterinarian to treat Calcifer when we first rescued him, and he suggested to the team some invaluable possibilities that really helped the situation for our little guy, especially given our very tight budget and low household income. Their calm professionalism and kindness helped ease our worries more than they probably know. We’re deeply grateful to this entire clinic for their skill, attentiveness, and heart. It’s clear they truly care about their patients and their people. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can trust completely. Our sweet, little constantly-purring guy is finally home, happy, and healthy, and that was only possible because of the team at the UA Veterinary Hospital.

I am so grateful for Dr. Giatis and her team. She has helped me problem solve through my sweet dog Cora who is a rescue. She requires a very special routine that we had to problem solve over 1.5 years. We now have her solved and we went a whole year without requiring an extra vet visit. She is always kind and compassionate. She will examine my girl on the floor since she likes to jump off the table. The entire staff is always very friendly and helpful. We have found our forever vet!
