Uppercuts is a fantastic spot - great vibes - great fades - got a clean fade and a shave with my King’s cut. If I had known that I could watch the 9ers game I would have booked a later appointment. I will be coming back next time I am in town. Go get faded -

I went to Uppercuts for business and Javier convinced me that I needed a haircut. He told me that he sells confidence and not haircuts. I was sold immediately. The atmosphere of the shop is amazing, warm and welcoming. His little dog is so lovely and the staff is respectful and friendly. After the haircut, I gained a little more confidence (I looked like crap before that) but thanks to him I looked like a million bucks afterwards. I highly recommend him and his team. Go visit them on Cedar ave. 🔥

Great barber with great vibes. My son loves going to Mike for his haircut. He makes him feel comfortable, relaxed and confident after each cut. Definitely recommend Mike for your next haircut.

I brought my brother in, and we didn't have an appointment. Mike got him on the chair as soon as possible and finished his cut in 25 minutes. Mike worked his magic and hooked my brother up. Truly appreciate him for not turning us down and getting us in quickly. Barbershop is full of energy and good vibes. Would highly recommend anyone to get their cut here because they would not be disappointed in the service.

I showed up for my haircut with Javier, on time and he had me waiting 30 min before i just left. Meanwhile the employees went outside to smoke a joint. Very poor customer service. Notice no one is even in the shop updated from the response I received. Short version: it means well, but it reads defensive, overshares, and doesn’t take clear responsibility. Long version: There's also a lot of blame-shifting: “I did reach out and text you but never got a response.” I never received a text from you. The burden is on the shop to be on time or proactively notify and reschedule. And you don't clearly own the miss. No clear “we kept you waiting 30 minutes; that’s unacceptable and on us.” Also you don't address my specific concern about workers smoking outside or the empty shop. You also seem to deflect with “they’re their own boss… lords of their own schedules,” which dismisses responsibility for the customer’s in-store experience. At the end of the day, I feel like you did a lot of rambling with unrelated drama which undercuts your credibility I will not be going back.
