The nurses' smiles and friendly faces and the doctor's reassuring conversation, put the patient at ease. From the moment we entered until we left, everyone was wonderful. Waiting maybe 10 minutes or not . Thank you very much for everything.🫶
I have given this urgent care several chances and will never go back. The people at the front desk are unfriendly and unwelcoming. They are too busy on their cell phones to even say hello when you walk in. The nurses in the back are downright rude. I have noticed this several times. The last time I was there with my son, the nurse was more than rude, she was nasty. She was very unfriendly, impatient, and was clearly miserable as soon as she walked into the room. AWFUL! I don't know what's going on there, but the employees make it obvious that they are miserable. When you seek medical attention, the last thing you need is people who treat you like they couldn't care less about your or their job. This certainly does not instill confidence in UR as a whole. Go to the Rochester Regional Urgent Care down the road, or any one of them for that matter. I have found them to be a lot more patient and helpful.
I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this urgent care. Aside from the very kind gentleman at the check in desk. I went in 2 days after rolling my ankle. arriving ON crutches with my ankle wrapped and in an air cast, and barely able to put any weight on it. I spent about 2.5 hours there, only to be told to “stay off it,” “use an Ace wrap,” and take Tylenol. I was sent home with yet another air cast, no pain management, and no real plan for follow-up. The X-ray experience was especially troubling. The tech openly said she “didn’t want to be there,” was on her phone during my imaging, mislabeled my right ankle X-rays as “left,” and repeatedly said she was “so ready to go home.” That kind of attitude and lack of attention to detail in a medical setting is unacceptable. The next morning, when reviewing my MyChart, I discovered a note stating there may be an ATFL fracture, something no one told me during my visit. I was never informed that there might be a fracture before being discharged. I also made it clear that I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which affects my joints and healing, but this was dismissed entirely. This experience left me in severe pain, without answers, and feeling unheard and disrespected. I truly hope this feedback leads to better training, accountability, and patient care in the future, because no one deserves to be treated this way when they’re already in pain.
This is by far the friendliest and most attentive urgent care I’ve ever been to. Dr. Bo and all the nursing staff/secretaries were so helpful and kind. I was puking for almost 24 hours, unable to pee from dehydration and the ER had a 10+ hour wait to be seen. I got to be seen after about a 25 minute wait, after assessing everything, they gave me fluids and anti vomiting medication and honestly feel like they saved my life. They deserve major recognition.
waited about 3 hours with an open laceration and glass shards in my arm, july 5th, 2024, in pain that was so bad it made it difficult to move my arm. probably just the shards of glass though. no biggie. watched numerous people who had just arrived be taken in almost immediately for a reason probably unknown to me that makes sense, considering their policy is those with a more urgent medical priority are taken in first. once i finally got seen, no exam was done to examine my arm and see if there were any shards of glass in my arm (there were, they were quite small. i have an image attached and will be adding more of the glass i have removed from my arm. there is more, but i had previously removed it AFTER the visit to the urgent care). then it was rubbed harshly with soap and gauze to clean the area, pushing said glass shards deeper into my arm, to later be fished out by ME. reception was unfriendly and unwelcoming. almost felt like a burden to be there at all! many people had left due to the wait times. place is kinda crappy if they don’t think your injury is worth their time. id recommend going someplace else. or maybe encourage a staff re-training that states “urgent care is for those who need urgent care, not for us to urgently get those who need care out of our establishment without properly examining or treating them because we have so many damn people in our waiting room.” and to top it off, on the medical notes it states “no foreign body palpitated”, despite the fact that i stated i was in pain because of the glass i had in my arm, to the receptionist. hope other people have a better experience than me. and don’t bother to respond to this review and tell me to reach out to your patient care line or whatever to report issues. i don’t care to. this place sucks and always has, no matter how many people call.
