We had a great experience at VEG ER for our dog after a scary incident. The team was incredibly kind, patient and truly understanding of the situation. Dr. Gabos, Katherine, Josh, Chris, Mikayla, Bonnie and Amanda R. took such good care of our pup and made us feel supported every step of the way. We’re so grateful for their compassion and attention. They treated my dog like their own. Highly recommend VEG for any pet emergency. They are also open 24/7! Thank you!

As soon as the door opens the staff are there to take you in immediately. Our experience felt less overwhelming in the case of our emergency because the staff was so friendly, quick, and efficient in getting treatment done for our dog. We appreciate the opportunity to also be side by side with our dog during the process as well. It put us at ease knowing every step that was taken and being able to comfort our dog along the way right next to them. They definitely don't make it feel like an ER, but more of a relaxed visit with people who genuinely care for the well being of your pet. I've gone to this ER twice and haven't been let down yet. Only downside and reason for drop in star is the pricing, be prepared to pay a hefty amount for treatment. Otherwise great place for your animals to go in case of emergency. I would highly recommend. Pictured is our dog Lucy who was coming out of sedation and we were right next to her while she woke up. Thank you again for all your help!

Wonderful team of people who truly care about what they do! I arrived with my dog on a night that was busy with stressful, high stakes emergency cases. The VEG team worked well together to provide care to each case. Despite the busy-ness and stress, everyone made sure that each family present was met with respect and empathy. My dog and I spent two nights hospitalized and the team's performance was consistent throughout our stay. They were kind, accommodating, answered all of my many questions without hesitation, and made it clear that they care about what they do. Mikayla, Dr. Gabos, and Chris M. did a wonderful job making the visit as good as it could've been. While no one plans for or hopes to go to the pet ER, this is the one to go to when your pet needs emergency care.

We are incredibly blessed to have VEG South Tampa in our neighborhood. I came in today with my cat Wiley who had been limping & the staff immediately greeted/ checked on him. I can’t emphasize enough how amazing the team there is & how you can see how much they really care about the pets coming in. Bonnie at the front desk was so sweet & kind!! Her smile just helped me feel so at ease being there. Dr. Gabos immediately checked on Wiley & evaluated him, so gentle with him! And Nurse Estevan was so quick with getting us in/out & answering any questions. Just amazing experience overall! God bless the wonderful people who work here. Thank you guys so much for everything! ❤️

Couldn’t recommend them more! From the moment I arrived until we left, the staff was very warm friendly and attentive. Mikayla jumped from her seat to open the door and brought us right into the exam room, doctor Gabos came over immediately after to check in and do the exam and nurse Chris M helped us along the way. It’s never an ideal situation to make a trip to emergency room with your furry friend but I am very thankful for the team that helped make it a bit easier.
