A cute CBD bakery offering up a good selection or Eurasian style baked treats. Whilst they may be known for the viral cube croissants our favourites were actually the sponge cake bites and pretzels. Everything is bakes fresh daily and restocked regularly throughout the day so everything is super fresh. There’s a good mix of sweet and savoury options and you’ll find a mix of European and Asian flavours and styles throughout. It’s a self-serving arrangement where you load up a tray with as many goodies as you like, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, a good spot to get your bread and pastry fix conveniently located next to Melbourne Central and open daily until 7.30pm.

This Eurasion European and Asian fusion bakery located centrally on Swanston street (opposite QV and the State Library) is a must visit for unique pastries and cakes. _ There are sweet and savoury breads and pastries along with cakes which feature unique flavours such as a taro mochi pork floss tart! _ Everything is baked fresh, there is a heavenly smell when you walk into the bakery with so many tempting items, it’s hard to just choose one! _ We tried the following: 🫐🥐Blueberry custard cube croissant 🥐🌭Sausage and Parmesan croissant 🥨 Honey mustard kransky cheese sausage pretzel 🥯Blueberry cream cheese bagel 🥧Taro mochi tart with pork floss 🍰Oreo mini cakes _ Note: I dined as a guest of the venue however all views expressed are my own.

Visited 1000 Bread and was seriously impressed. You can really taste the care that goes into their menu. Tried the brioche butter loaf, smoked chicken cheese pretzel, Dubai chocolate egg tart, blueberry cream cheese bagel, Oreo cake bites, and the strawberry custard cube croissant, every single item was fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavour. The pastries were perfectly flaky, the savoury options were packed with flavour, and nothing felt overly sweet or heavy. Everything looked incredible and tasted even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting 😊

One thing about me… I cannot walk past a pastry shop without going in 😅 When I say “just having a look,” please know I’m lying. I will come out with a treat in hand 🥐✨ I took my time (maybe a little too much 😂) because everything looked way too good. Self-control? Gone. Every bite? Totally worth it. 🤤 #1000Bread takes pride in their heritage recipes that blend European and Asian influences, creating Eurasian-style breads and pastries packed with amazing flavour. Be honest… would you also walk out with a bag (or two)? 😋💛
