Amazing staff and incredible selection! I loved how they organised the shelves… it made me think differently about the experience of enjoying wine, rather than the region! This not your usual wine shop, I’d highly recommend paying them a visit!
This place was great! Surprisingly small on the inside but has a massive selection. I was very impressed with the beer cooler selection and they had a huge variety of items we don’t normally see in the states. I got a mountain joe vodka coffee drink and it was so good that I really need to see if we can get them back in the states! Overall would def come back to any of their locations
5 Vines is our neighbourhood wine store. This brought us in at first, and we continue to go for the selection and the service. Marianne is often there when we come by. She remembers the types of wine we like, and has given us great recommendations based on that. We’re very thankful to have such a great wine store so close to home!
Best place for beer in Calgary by far. I really only go looking for beer when I am in town from Denver, but if you are into wine and liquor it looks like they have a fantastic selection too. But seriously I just go right to the growler bar or fridge so you probably should go in and check for yourselves if you like liquor or wine (you will like it, I promise!)... Not only do they have great selection, but prices are good and the service is amazing. We are in quarantine and they worked with me to make sure our delivery order was perfect, only a few minutes prior to the order leaving. Top notch in every way and is now the go to liquor store in Calgary.
Awesome selection, you can pick anything up on the shelf and know it will be good! Store has a fantastic frequent shopper points program. Fridge is full of great craft beers, with lots of local product. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. We've organized a tasting event through the store, which was fun and well executed.
