We had an Excellent experience with AIRCO Service. From the beginning, their pricing was upfront and transparent with no hidden fees, which gave us confidence moving forward. Luke Helm, the project manager, was amazing to work with. He came in, thoroughly assessed our needs, and clearly explained the process and recommendations. His professionalism and attention to detail set the tone for the entire project. There were two separate teams involved, and both were outstanding. The team in charge of the ductwork installation, led by Justin, was extremely professional and efficient. Justin even took the time to walk us through the new control panel (thermostat)—which was well above our level of expertise 😂—and graciously explained all the features it was capable of. His patience and kindness did not go unnoticed. Together, the teams installed a new HVAC heat pump along with new air ductwork, worked hard, respected our home, and cleaned up after themselves. What was expected to be a three-day job was completed in just two days, without sacrificing quality. If you’re looking for a professional company, look no further than AIRCO Service. Trevor was out to service our Generac Generator and was very curtious. He called to say he was on his way and was punctual. He was also very knowledgeable, and took his time to explain the details of how our generator operates, routine maintenance and answered all of our questions. We needed the battery replaced and he took care of everything, including an oil change and filters. We really appreciate his professionalism and friendly demeanor. Thanks, Trevor!
I can’t speak to the quality of the furnace maintenance performed, since I don’t know anything about HVAC, but I don’t have any reason to believe anything was amiss. Paige was nice and seemed knowledgeable. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay the bill, things turned sour. When I scheduled the appointment back on October 24, I was quoted $150 for the maintenance (two units) and was told they would honor the 20% discount through the CARE card (offered by Family & Children’s Services every year). But after the service was complete, Paige called their office and was told that not only were we quoted the wrong price (it’s now $198), they are no longer honoring the CARE card discount. So what we thought was going to cost $120 ($150 minus 20%) ended up being $198. In hindsight I should have asked for the quote in writing, but given this experience, I won’t be using Airco again or recommending them to anyone else. Update: Today I received a call from an Airco representative who deals with unflattering customer reviews. She said we should have received the Care Card discount of 20%, so she is going to issue us a refund of $40 (20% of $198). I thanked her but mentioned that we were still charged more than we were quoted initially. She offered us a free one-year membership that will include one AC tune up in the Spring and one furnace tune up in the fall, around a $250 value. I accepted this offer and will give Airco another chance to regain our trust.
Just about every service tech that has been here has been very polite and keeps a clean work area. All have been personable. Chance stood out from the others that have been to our home. He kept us appraised of each step of work he was doing. He was very cheerful. A very personable young man. He noticed little things about us to connect with. Would love to have him as our regular service tech!
