I really recommend AK Electrical services. I had a nightmare experience with a previous electrician who poorly installed a new consumer unit and failed to provide any of the legal documentation. Abdullah & his guys came in, immediately identified several safety issues with the previous work, and rectified everything to a high standard which basically involved replacing the previously installed consumer unit. Most importantly, they provided a full Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) and confirmed they had notified Building Control as required by Part P regulations. It’s such a relief to finally have a safe, fully certified home. They are professional, knowledgeable, and highly recommended.

Contacted AK Electrical when our switch tripped and one of the circuits would not turn on again. The emergency callout fee was substantial but clearly explained. They arrived within an hour, systematically diagnosed the issue and worked hard to ensure it was fixed within the first hour. This avoided a charge for the second hour when they could easily have spun it out. The two guys who came were courteous and knowledgeable. Very impressed.

I have used AK Electrical Services to carry out an EICR test in my house. Abdullah, Steve and O.J arrived prompty, implemented all the electric checks with care and professional detail. I had discovered that some light cables in loft had evidence of heat damage. The EICR test implemented uncovered an 40amp mcb rather than 32amp and a faulty reversal in one socket. To fix the reversal remedial work was implemented. To fix the order in which the cables had been joined, pallet wood had to be lifted to locate joint. The cables that showed evidence of thermal heat in loft, were throughly checked and insulation boxes were used to prepare cable joints in for laying down fibreglass insulation on top of them. A really careful work was implemented. Many thanks for your attention to detail and professional work!

Fantastic service. Easy to book in and good communication via WhatsApp. Very knowledgable team who explained absolutely everything to help us understand the work that needed doing. Amazed by the team’s work ethic, just cracked on and worked hard to get everything sorted in a timely manner. Wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again. 100% recommend.
