Rented tables, chairs, a tent, a slushie machine, a bounce house, and a ball pit which all the kids loved for my daughter’s first birthday! service was great and affordable. Setup was quick! definitely going to Alakai again for all my future party rentals!
Used Alaka'i for several events and loved having them! They are one of our first go to's whenever we plan. They're easy to work with and do a great job! Would definitely recommend
I rented a huge waterslide from Alakai for my work’s Summer Fun event! All the kids were so excited and had a lot of fun sliding over and over again for hours!! Alakai staff were punctual and they also set up the slide for us, and they did it very quickly which made my life so easy. Definitely using them again this year and for many more years!
They ruined my best friends wedding !!! RUN RUN RUN!!!!!!!!!! They did not show up on time, they refused to pick up items on time as shown on invoice. Spoke to JAY every time you spoke to him, he said something different. Jay requested to pick up chairs 2 hours late in a tropical storm. If you want a smooth event - this is not the place to rent items ! Horrible horrible company. Will be reporting them to the butter business Bureau! RUN!!! Update: Chairs and tables were not picked up by 9:30pm- the bride and groom was waiting in the rain for over 3 hours past the agreed pick up time. They will remember this event for the place that ruined their wedding for the rest of their lives ! Run! - Recently found out they are rated an F by the BBB- Do your research folks!!!
The team at Alaka'i are consummate professionals. From end to end — booking to pick up — they delivered flawlessly. It was our first time renting a jump house, so we didn't know what to expect. After they dropped it off, they came back to make sure it was EXTRA secure because we were getting some windward trades. The team was super nice and respectful and even funny. They dropped it off a day early so we got to enjoy the jump house because the party started. We'll definitely book another from them in the future, next time EVEN BIGGER!
