I travel around the country and drop into gyms all over. Alaska Fitness, while certainly not the largest, is one of the best gyms I've visited. The quality and diversity of equipment is stellar and the gym has everything you need to get a great workout in, whether your into weights, cardio, or classes. Someone who knew what they were doing selected this equipment...no junk, all top-of-the-line stuff. If this gym were in my hometown, I'd be there every day!

Great overall gym. Some of the equipment is old and it doesn’t match. They charge for EVERYTHING. Less expensive than AK club but if you’re serious about lifting they got all you need. Good customer service.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Alaska Fitness truly impressed me! I’ve had memberships at a few gyms around Alaska, and this one stands out. AK Fitness has everything you need—and more—without unnecessary frills. The equipment is excellent, the recovery resources are top-notch, and the facility is kept exceptionally clean.

Lovely staff, all the equipment you need, a great place to workout at very reasonable rates. That they are open 24 hours is an additional bonus. I have been taking my family there for a few weeks and we have all been very happy with the gym and have found everyone from the owner to the cleaning crew to be super friendly and welcoming.

Worked out here for a week before my Denali trip. Paid $45 for a week long pass which seemed reasonable for Anchorage. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Facilities were really good and there is everything you might need both for a strength and cardio workout. The equipment is really well thought out. The hours are really good as they’re open until 11pm even on holidays.
