We worked with Dallas for over a year to plan our (3-day!) wedding, and we couldn’t imagine doing it without her. From the very beginning, she kept us organized with a clear schedule, tackling our long list of to-dos at a doable pace so we never felt overwhelmed. The wedding weekend itself came with the surprise of rain, but Dallas handled it seamlessly. She pivoted quickly, problem-solved on the spot, and somehow kept everything running so smoothly that none of our guests ever knew there was anything to fix. Our guests frequently came up to us commenting on how incredible she was at her job, as they saw her managing vendors throughout the weekend. She constantly checked in with us to make sure we were happy. She ran across the resort so much that her fitness watch literally died. If you’re looking for a planner who will work with you to create your dream wedding, it’s Dallas. She listens, she advocates for you when needed, she’s adaptable to change, and, most impressively, she never once looked stressed. Working with her was like working with a friend. Being a planner is clearly more than a job for Dallas - she's committed to her couple's happiness.
My husband Rob and I worked with Sabrina Chen of Alicia Keats wedding planning. We honestly cannot say enough good things about Sabrina and the entire team. We held our wedding at the Fairmont Chateau in Whistler on August 9th 2025. We had a previous Vancouver based planner who let us down 5 months before the wedding and left us in limbo and chaos. On the advice of a friend, I reached out to Alicia and her team to explain the situation and see if they could help. I cannot express how kind and compassionate they were. They immediately lifted the worry and anxiety we felt. They didn’t try to make money out of our situation or exploit us. They simply and kindly said they were available and we were delighted to work with them. From then, everything was a dream. We were assigned Sabrina as our chief wedding planner and what a gift that was! Leading up to the wedding, on the day itself and afterwards following up and checking invoices to make sure they were correct, she was incredible! I have never met a kinder more thoughtful planner. She included our friends in Australia who couldn’t travel due to illness and set up a video link to include them in our special day. She included all the little personal art touches my mum had done for our wedding that we wanted to include. She in fact drove to our house in whistler to pick these up the day of the wedding to save us having to carry them all. She was incredibly responsive on the day responding within seconds when I texted her to say the fuses had blown in the hotel suite during hair and makeup :). It was sorted within minutes. Everyone at our wedding had a story about how incredible she was. She fixed the bustle on my dress not once, but twice as she simply whipped out a needle and thread she had on her with no fuss! She temperature tested our champagne to make sure it was perfect for our champagne tower and communicated all our requests for our meal so it was perfect! She even arranged minders for our dog patsy to be included and made it so she could watch our first dance and join in with us!! All of these small but super important details made our day! I call her our fairy godmother on the day and I would recommend Sabrina and Alicia Keats without reservation to anyone looking for a wedding planner. I’ve put this review off for over a week because I just cant seem to find the words to express my love and gratefulness for Jamie and her team at Alicia Keats. From day one Jamie completely understood my husband and I, and our vision. She genuinely became my best friend during this process and took so much stress off of this experience. She went above and beyond for us and our families who travelled from all across North America. Not only was she professional, talented, and so intelligent but she also recommended the most top tier vendors for us who worked together seamlessly. She was always on our side and had our backs when the inevitable problems came up that needed to be solved, and always did so promptly and thoroughly to make sure we made the best decisions in the shortest time frame as to not stress. Our wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined, and so much of it was because of her! She was the best investment we could have ever made, and we would make the same choice 10 times over. We are so lucky! Thank you Jamie!
Alicia Keats and her team are hands down one of the best wedding planner/designers in all of Canada!!! My husband and I are wedding photographers and we have worked with planners all over the world and anytime we get to work with Alicia Keats we know it's going to be a brilliant wedding, that the couple will be happy and that the wedding day will be smooth. My husband and I were SO lucky to have Jamie-Lee Clooten plan our June wedding. Jamie understood our vision and assembled an incredible team of vendors to bring it to life. She is incredibly calm, professional and handled any challenges throughout the process with grace and good humour. Dallas, Alyssa and Isabel were amazing on the day of, making sure everything ran smoothly. We received messages from multiple guests that it was the most seamless, well organized event they've attended! I would highly recommend Jamie and the whole Alicia Keats team to anyone planning their wedding.
