I cannot recommend Alta Vista Flowers enough. I am not local (I live in the US), so I was totally lost when it came to reputable florists in the area. I researched several florists/read countless reviews before finding Alta Vista. The arrangement turned out beautifully and delivery was smooth, two things that are essential when sending flowers for a funeral. Thank you again!
I can’t believe how efficient Alta vista flowers are. Within a few hours my order I made online was delivered and zero delivery charge. The pot of anthuriums was beautiful, fresh and had a bud. I love these people. I just wish there were an Alta Vista Flowers in every city. But alas, when in Ottawa, this is where I go. Dave delivered flowers to my parents today, and because it's -1Billion° outside and they weren't home yet, he went WAY above and beyond and found them a warm home in the neighbour's house until my folks could collect them later. He was in full communication with my folks and they knew exactly what was up with their bouquet. Stellar doesn't even begin to describe the care these guys take. And I ordered the "chef's choice" as it were, leaving the creativity up to the florist. And. They. Are. Stunning! Always always primo service and product from these wonderful people. Always.
Update #2: Replacement flowers have arrived. They are so pretty and well arranged. A huge improvement from the first time! Their customer service was great in dealing with the situation. Update: They have reached out to me and offered a replacement bouquet to be delivered. Will update again once it arrives. Very disappointed with the arrangement received today. It looked like they were missing types of flowers so they threw together what they had left. Bunch of random greenery, broken pieces, not full looking AT ALL. It looked nothing like it was supposed to and they arrived in very cold water and are all droopy. The card it came with was ripped in half in the holder. Also came with no flower food so i can’t even begin to try and improve their state. I paid $65 for these... the next morning one of the flowers was completely dead along with some greenery.
