Prices have went way up from a few years ago, why? I can get these Venus fly traps for less than half the price at Home Depot… ($8) ridiculous to sell them for $20 ea regardless! Staff always super helpful and nice just can’t get my head around some of the major inflation for some of the smallest plants 🌱
Went to Anderson’s for lunch with family, I am from CT, ended up having the most Amazing Sangria of my life!! Food was great, the gift shop area was nice and the mini golf was fun and unexpected. Didn’t even know it was there, this place goes on and on. The garden center was huge and beautiful. This place will now be a must to include in my next trip to Virginia Beach.
This is much more than an ordinary garden center. You can find all your garden needs here. The store is huge, clean, and neat. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The store is easy to navigate and well stocked. They sell outdoor furniture, clothing, and accessories. They have a restaurant inside named Sage Kitchen. The restaurant has inside and outside seating. They are very family-friendly. There's a play area outside for the kids, an arcade, and put put golf on site. There's plenty of pots and garden decorations to choose from. They have healthy, beautiful plants for sale. There's plenty of parking. Prices vary on items but are reasonable to high.
This was my 1st visit to Anderson's, and I was impressed. What a beautiful store with a nice variety of garden options. I did not try the restaurant. The clothing items were nice but seemed overpriced. The garden items were priced accordingly, and many of their statuary had great prices. The plants all looked healthy and well taken care of. The staff were helpful and friendly. They had a little mini golf course, which I'm sure is helpful for those shopping with children.
Pretty cool place. It has some great outdoor seating. Shopping on the inside for beach clothes and decor. The Sage Kitchen is a decent place to eat. The burger was good, not even close to places like Aloha Snacks or The Hearth, but good. Farm to table style. They have a good beer selection and mixed drinks.
