JAY is the guy to go! I used to be a barber in Portugal for some time and moved to Canada for business for 2 years. My headshape is difficult to fade and it’s hard to create texture on my thin hair, it was hard to find a barber at first, but Jay was able to work his way around it. He also shown interest in keeping improving his cut quality on me, unlike many others who stop caring once the client becomes loyal. The cuts started getting even better. He can talk about various different topics, fun to talk with, humble, hustler.
Before my son opted to grow out his hair and need a full blown hairdresser (my hairdresser), we would come to Andiamo for cuts & a fade. Dre and team were and still are absolutely phenomenal, my son still talks about how the whole atmosphere, approach and style was incredible. Dre’s attention to detail, kindness and true care about his business & clients is something you will not see elsewhere. We WILL be back when he FINALLY chops his mop off. In the meantime - count your lucky stars to get a spot in with this amazing team, it is truly THEE GO TO spot.
I've had a beard for over 18 years and before my visit to Andiamo I've only had one professional trim that went terribly so I haven't gone anywhere else since then. I wish I visited Dre sooner because he gave me a magnificent trim and I've never felt better about my beard. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. Also, loved the hot towel head shave.
If you need a solid barber who can style any kind of hair and give you a wicked fade, Jay at Andiamo is your man! Even with my unruly curls, Jay always provides a perfect cut and is really the only barber I've trusted with my hair for a few years. A super cool space with awesome people, highly recommend if you're looking for a new spot for your haircuts!
Great spot. Had my hair cut by Dre, fantastic job. Love the cut and it’s been one of the cleanest cuts I’ve had in a long time. Great staff, great location right in Hess village. And while your waiting you can grab a beer or coffee or cocktail at the bar. Cool and bright place, definitely my new spot.
