Had a cracked screen on a mac laptop. The Official Apple Store gave the runaround for 3 days and didn't fix it. These guys fixed it. Fixed it right. Fixed it the same day. And even gave me a better price then Apple. Forget going to the manufacturer. Just go to these guys.

Manu and his crew were super helpful from start to finish when my 11 year old Macbook pro started to go on the fritz. They did some diagnostics and thoroughly walked me through my options for repair and upgrades on that outdated set up, but ultimately offered me a great deal on a barely used certified pre-owned mac that's a million times better than what I walked in with. They get amazing things in stock and my tech-y brother-in-law is quite jealous of what I walked away with. They're pros but with a laid back vibe in the shop that makes what could be a nightmare (dreaded tech problems) into an all around pleasant experience. And being greeted by a delightful pup, Calli, doesn't hurt either.

I had an old Macbook Air which I had not backed up in over a year and it suddenly crashed. There was a lot of vital data on there. I went to the Genius bar, but they could not help me and didn't seem very interested. I was devastated. I went to Apple & Mac Solutions next. They said they would do their best, but it didn't look promising. A few days later, Manu called and said they had figured out how to salvage all my data. What a huge relief! I was trying to figure how I was going to recreate some recent file. Manu and his team were so helpful and professional. They gave me tips going forward. Their rates are also very reasonable. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are right by Berkeley Bowl West, so it's super convenient.

I am surprised there are any negative reviews for these guys. I cannot express enough what lifesavers these guys were for my wife. In a nutshell, our cats spilled a cup of water on my wife's new MacBook Pro. We brought it immediately to an Apple Store, but the store recommended it would be less expensive for us to just buy a new computer. Because my wife had not backed up her data, she was devastated. So for our second opinion we brought the computer into Apple & Mac Solutions and after taking a look, they were pretty certain they could not only save the data, but get the computer running like new. They got that done in 3 days!!! I realize that there is a recent review here stating that they were surprised with the cost after getting their computer fixed and having their data saved. That is hard to believe as Apple & Mac Solutions are very transparent regarding their costs and they even call you with a final estimate upon examining your circuit board. In my opinion, if you think their estimate is too expensive, then just don't bring your computer there! Thank you for being so wonderful to work with... Hopefully, I will not need you guys again... but we do still have some rambunctious cats...
