We took our puppies to Atlanta Dog Trainer for their Board & Train program. Rachel & Madeline were wonderful and sent us daily pictures and videos. Our puppies know all their basic commands and love to show them off. It is now a pleasure to be with them and take them on walks. We highly recommend them to all dog owners. We cannot say enough good things about Rachel and Atlanta Dog Trainer's Board and Train program. Wally, our rescue pitbull, came with major challenges—no boundaries, poor social skills, and worsening behavior. Horrified to admit it, we were on the verge of rehoming him, but from the start, Rachel, Shelby, and Emma were willing to take a chance on him. We were drawn to ADT's humane, relationship-based techniques, which focus on communication, structure, and trust—without e-collars or harsh methods. During his in-person temperament test, it was clear Wally didn’t know how to be a dog or interact with other dogs, which affected how he communicated with humans. Rachel met him exactly where he was and taught us how to better communicate with him, solving a lot of the issues at home. Throughout his stay, Rachel provided consistent updates, showing the care, patience, and thought that went into his training. Since coming home, Wally is slightly calmer (he’s still a ball of energy!), more responsive, and genuinely better behaved. Rachel didn’t just change his behavior—she changed our future with him. We are beyond grateful and will recommend them forever! Wally will continue weekly daycare to improve his social skills, and we intend to use Atlanta Dog Trainer for boarding whenever we travel.
Excellent! My 8 month old Aussiedoodle learned new commands and is getting control of himself where he used to jump and go crazy. Rachel did an exceptional job. Now, it's up to me to continue his training. Rachel actually taught him to heel. I can go for walks again without tripping over a crazy little guy. This is an excellent place to take your fur babies for training, daycare and boarding. It is on a farm and your dog will have a blast!Please keep in mind that your dog will only remember what he learned if you reinforce it daily. A trained dog is a joy to live with. It's worth all the effort.
This was our very first obedience training class with my 4-year-old terrier "pup," Teddy, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Emma, our trainer, was fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly helped us understand Teddy’s behavior on a deeper level. I now feel much more confident continuing training at home with the tools and techniques we learned. Emma made the process approachable and effective. I highly recommend Atlanta Dog Trainer and especially Emma if you're looking for expert guidance and real results!
DJ at Atlanta Dog Trainer is seriously the BEST! He has helped our Bowie so much, we cannot thank him enough. Bowie is a rescue that had a very rough start, and came with a lot of aggressive behaviors. After working with DJ he’s able to play with other dogs, go on long walks, and just relax and enjoy his life with us. We would recommend DJ and Atlanta Dog Trainer to anyone and everyone!!! Our whole family is forever grateful for all his help and support 🐾🖤
