Avoid this clinic if possible. Staff will not help with questions and if for any reason you run out of contacts before your new ones come in they are greedy enough to not let you purchase/have a sample pair. Even Walmart eye centers usually help you out.
Best optometrist in Austin I have been coming here for years and always have an awesome easy experience. I made the mistake of going somewhere else one year (insurance network thing) and it was a big mistake. Should have just paid out of pocket to come here. Will never go anywhere else in Austin ! No frills, easy, doesn’t try to upsell me on things I don’t need and so friendly
This place is my recommendation if you need an eye exam and lens prescription. I dont have insurance and need to pay out of pocket. Not only is this place affordable, Dr. Tang is so awesome. I left knowing I had the RIGHT prescription and my prescription was fully optimized to enhance my eye sight. There was no questions left on whether anything was unaddressed or my glasses would be sub optimal with room for improvement from a rushed, uncaring eye exam. I left knowing my prescription would optimize my vision as much as humanly possible. I consider Dr. Tang a top grade optometrist and give the prescription I received an A+ rating.
Been going to Dr. Tang for many years; she is awesome and very sweet. She runs on time and is very detailed about my exam. She has also updated the interior of the office from the previous owner and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend Dr. Tang for routine eye exams.
