We used Austin's Floor Store for both carpet (2,000+Sqft) and adding luxury vinyl (500+ sqft). We worked with Diego. Not only was he able to help us find what we were looking for, he quote reasonable prices and found ways to save us money. Very easy to work, honest and clear. Even when we had to change things on him last minute a few times, he was quick to adapt and adjust. Additionally Beto and his team for the vinyl installation and Chris and his team for the carpet installation did amazing jobs.
We used Austin Floor Store for vinyl and carpet in our home. I cannot recommend them highly enough for the entire process. When picking what we wanted they had wonderful options for each thing we needed. Diego did a great job advising us options that work together and stayed under the budget we had set. Diego also was an amazing communicator about issues then the carpet we wanted ended up being discontinued. He still managed to get what we wanted despite the issues with the manufacturer. He in particular was great to work with to get the materials we wanted that were good quality and affordable. When it came to installation the teams were also amazing. They managed to get the entire house done in two days despite it being an old house that presented challenges when the old flooring was removed. They managed to install perfectly on a very difficult curved staircase. Our home looks amazing as they paid attention to all the tiny details at the edges and transitions between rooms. We loved our experiences with this company and will enjoy our floors for years to come.
Austin's Floor Store provided the BEST customer service I've experienced in recent memory! Diego was very patient and helped me pick out exactly the right flooring. He went above and beyond by ordering me samples of flooring from different vendors. I ended up with CoreTec floating floor, which was installed perfectly. I had a unique issue with my floor. My house is on pier and beam and because a back porch (on slab) was incorporated into my kitchen, I couldn't use porcelain or ceramic tile because it would have created at least a 1" elevation change due to hardi backer and thickness of tile, so I had to use a floating floor. Most of the floating floor products are some type of faux stone or wood that would compete with my antique hardwood floors. The CoreTec product was the perfect choice. Thank you, Diego, and Austin's Floor Store. I love my new flooring! I'll post photos once I figure how to get them from my phone to my computer!
Best floor store in Austin (trust me I quoted all of them)! Tori and the team are all an absolute pleasure to work with and worked so hard to find quality solutions within our budget. Tori went above and beyond to source the specific materials I was looking for - even though they didn’t have wool for me to look at at this location the first time I stopped by, the next time she made sure there was a full rack of 100% NZ wool for me to choose from. We re-did our full house with Austin Floor Store and couldn’t be happier. She walked us through choices and educated us on the differences between types of wood floors, wool carpet, and helped us customize every step of the process down to taking us to the shop where they wrap the sides of our stair runners so I could pick out the perfect binding type / color. By the way - they are the only store I quoted out of 6 (!) that didn’t give me a hard time about doing a stair runner or say they couldn’t do it. They hand cut it at our house and installed within a couple weeks. While other stores in Austin were hard to get responses from, Tori texted back to any question immediately and made our decision so easy. When we switched our carpet choice from a 12’ to 13’ option, she drove 30 minutes again to our house to re-measure and make sure she was ordering the least quantity we needed. She let us pivot the wood area we selected SAME DAY (we added a mud room that I’d thought would be tile)! I could write so much more about all the hoops she jumped through for us but just want to make sure everyone knows, this is the place to get your floors!!! We’ll be doing tile and rugs with her next :)
We had a bad leak in our house this summer, and we had to unexpectedly get new floors installed. Gerry was so patient with us and kept showing us samples as we tried to select the best style and color options within our budget. The installation crew was fast and professional. We are so happy with our new floors! We will recommend Austin’s Floor Store and specifically Gerry to everyone we know if they ever need to get new floors. Thank you so much!
