Having travelled extensively and experienced the full spectrum of massage therapies—some exceptional, some forgettable, and some downright questionable—I can say with absolute confidence that Joey is the finest massage therapist, I have ever encountered. Hands down, without hesitation, if you want the best massage therapist in Brisbane—indeed, in Australia—I cannot recommend Joey highly enough. His skill, precision, and intuitive understanding of the body are unmatched. I had a back issue that lingered for nearly 20 years. After a single treatment with Joey, the problem was resolved. One session. Fixed. That alone speaks volumes. So don’t waste your time considering anyone else. Joey is a true master of his craft. He knows exactly what he’s doing, and you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Joey. I genuinely appreciate your expertise. You are, without question, the best massage therapist in the world.
Had mixed feelings about my visit recently. PROS: +Facility was nice. Very relaxing atmosphere +Massage was amazing. Had the detox massage and my therapist was really thorough +Waiting area post massage is great. Views of the city were everything! CONS: - The staff on the Wet Deck were not very friendly. Noticed a difference in the level of service received versus what I saw others receive. - Was a little taken aback when others in my party were told tipping was not accepted but for my transaction, it was. Don't mind tipping. It's standard where Im from but your policies should be consistent with all patrons. Left a bad impression of the spa staff for that reason. I still would recommend the spa overall.
What an amazing experience! I highly recommend you book your next treatment at Away Spa. It was a six star experience from beginning to end. I arrived and Brittany who welcomed me was so lovely. I felt welcomed and comfortable. The facilities were next level; clean, private and stunning. The facial and massage were unreal by Alice. I’d highly recommend you book in your next treatment here (I know I will be!)
Beyond expectations. I left feeling very relaxed and cared for. They are very professional and attentive. Jo my massage therapist was highly knowledgeable and it was the best massage I have ever had in Australia so far. I have had a few😁. I am now trying to plan my next two day vacation to Brisbane just to do this again. The high tea experience must do.
I had the most beautiful experience at Away Day Spa today. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by John, whose kind and calming presence immediately set the tone for a relaxing visit. My massage was with Joey, and it was truly exceptional. He intuitively knew exactly what my body needed, applying the perfect pressure and technique throughout. Every detail…from the soothing ambiance to the attentive care…made this one of the best spa experiences I’ve had. Thank you, John and Joey, for creating such a restorative and nurturing environment. I can’t wait to return.
