I had an excellent experience with this furniture store! The service was top-notch, especially with my custom order. The staff was helpful and kept me updated throughout the process. My custom sectional arrived faster than they promised, and the quality is great. Highly recomment this showroom in the Milwaukee area.

I seldom have so harsh an opinion that it compels me to respond in this manner, but Bachman has earned it. We purchased a pair of chairs in September, 2024 ($2,800), and we still have no fulfillment. In spring after original delivery promise, we were told there's a delivery/tariff issue. We could not get anyone on the phone, can't leave voicemail, then several additional calls. Called again two months ago and were told completely different story-- that chairs were damaged in shipment. We get NO updates, NO follow-ups. We've tried to get owner on phone. Both times, "He's not in today." Told he would call us. Not so far. We've asked repeatedly for refund; they refuse. But they refuse to give us any assurance of shipment, delivery, status. Total black hole. Be warned. This sounds like a business that's about to go belly up.

Our couch and love seat were special orders that ended up taking at least 3x longer to arrive than expected. Ann, our sales associate, left her position at the store after the transaction and communication literally stopped at that point. It was a nightmare to reach anyone at the store because the phone does not take voicemails so no one ever knows you called..and they really struggle to answer calls for some reason. I've been in the store numerous times and know they have time to pick up the phone. No matter what time of day I called, I received the answering service with no option to leave a message. Furniture finally arrived (after WE called to ask) we set up service and the guys that delivered smelled so bad of weed when they entered my foyer, I had to spray the house and open the window. The older guy was polite and considerate of our home. The guy with him was entirely strung out on pot and so high that I was hoping he wasn't the driver. Really a bad look for a store that offered "white glove delivery". We won't return to Bachman. Too many annoyances to bother.

So we ordered a couch at Bachman. It was a special, made to order couch and so we were told it will take about six months for our order to arrive. Its been almost 7 months already and we still have not received our couch. Asked them if there is any protocol whatsoever for delays of this magnitude, as well as if we want to cancel the order because we were not told upfront that the wait would be this long, they could not provide me with anything except for apologizing. The person I talked to on the phone was very curt and dismissive. Would not recommend this store.

Though I consider myself a true advocate for technology – I’ve learned (the hard way) that the only true way to determine the quality, feel, and comfort of furniture is to see it in person. Go there - it's worth the quick trip! After an exhaustive (and utterly disappointing) tour of furniture stores throughout the Milwaukee area, a friend of mine suggested that I visit Bachman Furniture. Though I don’t know where this notion originated, I thought Bachman Furniture would be too high-end for me. However, when I first visited, I was pleasantly surprised! The furniture was reasonably priced, very stylish, and of high-quality. I’ve come to get to know Joe Bachman since and have used Bachman Furniture to furnish my home, home office, and main office. Most of their furniture is built to spec/custom order – so though you won’t be leaving the store that day with your furniture, it has ALWAYS been worth the wait.
