cool vintage store with lots of streetwear, sports jerseys, hoodies and jackets. geared more towards men/masculine style. picked up the coolest vest for my boyfriend for christmas. prices are high but acceptable for a high quality curated selection.
I have personally known the owner of BV for over 10 years. Montana pours his absolute soul into this store and his "staff" consists of literally 2 or 3 other people - they are often running the store alone. They're responsible for keeping an eye on the fitting rooms, changing the music, watching the door, the racks rolled out on the sidewalk, the register, etc... as business goes, sometimes they simply can't greet and say hello to every person that walks in the door right away. This is IN NO WAY shape or form a purposeful discriminatory act. All employees of this store are friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable. The one-star "Milan" review is absolutely false and is obviously a malicious attempt to ruin this store's reputation. Pop in and see for yourself. Don't let one schmuck steer you away from one of Baltimore's gems.
This is THE SPOT for proper vintage clothing! New stuff gets stocked very fast, and they’re definitely on the pulse of what’s popular at any given time. Especially vintage hats! This guy is like the east coast vintage hat king. Highly recommend BALTO!
I recently visited Balto Vintage, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon entering the store, my friend and I made an effort to engage with the staff, but we were completely ignored. It quickly became clear that the store was not welcoming to people of color, and this lack of basic courtesy and respect made us uncomfortable. After a brief moment of being treated dismissively, we chose to leave. It’s disheartening to see businesses still behaving this way in 2025. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values inclusivity and respect for all customers.
Great ambience and a wonderful place to shop! My favorite vintage store in the area and definitely a must visit anytime I’m in town! They have a very thoughtful and curated collection of items and great selection. It’s obvious that they really put effort into finding great pieces!
