I recently had the pleasure of working with Charlie from Bates Electric for the installation of three Tesla Powerwall 3 units and their integration with my Tesla Solar Roof. As the owner of a 114-year-old home, I was concerned about potential complications, but Charlie handled everything with exceptional skill and patience. From the outset, Charlie was professional, communicative, and attentive to the unique challenges posed by my historic property. He invested significant time in configuring the system to ensure seamless compatibility, addressing outdated wiring and structural nuances without any shortcuts. His expertise in renewable energy installations shone through, and he kept me informed every step of the way, answering all my questions with clarity and courtesy. The end result is a reliable, efficient energy storage setup that has exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and the smooth process. I needed a simple estimate. I’m sorry, but I can’t deal with a rude technician. The lady at the office was fantastic. But Steve not so much. You don’t misunderstand the customers request (even though I sent videos and pics of what I needed done step by step) and then talk over the customer when they correct you, “well, if you’d let me finish”. Ummm excuse me…. I’d like to get an estimate with you knowing at least the correct information. No point in getting an estimate when you don’t know what you’re even calculating. No thanks. Click

Ian at Bates Electric showed up on time, was able to do the work quickly and neatly. He was polite and friendly. We have Bates do all of our work because they do a great job and are reasonable in price. Highly recommend!

Ian and Berto did an outstanding job upgrading my 100 amp panel to 200 amps, wiring and installing an outdoor light for my patio, installing a 50 amp plug-in for my fifth wheel, an inlet for my portable generator, and an outlet for my hot tub. They also fixed my outdoor meter to code. I highly recommend Bates Electric and their terrific staff!
