Its like walking into your grandma’s house. A true vintage vibe from the couches, to the chandeliers to the piano. A rare find on Orleans where the service from the staff is on point, the coffee and teas hit the spot and the atmoshpere pulls you out of the suburbs into an old school lounge.
Cute little bistro/café spot that is bustling. Good drinks and food at reasonable prices. The only downside is that you can only make reservations on weekdays. It was definitely busy on a Friday afternoon for lunch. I ordered the Persian kotlet sandwich which was delicious. The salads that my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law orders were great as well. They were both full at the end of their salads. The drinks were great. We’ll be back for sure.
What a cozy local Orleans gem! I visited this week for the first time with my husband and we each had a tea latte and a pastry. Everything was delicious and for once, my tea latte was actually as hot as I like it without making a special request to have it extra hot. The pastries were also warmed to perfection. Service was very pleasant and the cozy 50s living room vibe is so charming. The place was nearly full on a mid-morning week day, a clear sign that it is very well liked. My only regret is not discovering Beyond Cafe sooner. I can't wait to be back and introduce it to friends and family!
I just moved to Orleans and went to beyond cafe the next day for breakfast. My friends had mentioned it to me before and I wanted to try the place out and boy, what a good decision that was. I had the salmon toast, beyond latte and a blueberry walnut cake and I was so happy at the end of it, and so delightfully full!! Everything tasted good and the decor gives very classic English tea house vibe. The server was very nice too. I do plan on going there again and preferably will make it my go to place!
Beyond Cafe is a wonderful special cafe with an amazing decor and atmosphere. Coming here you step into a different world - into a different culture - leaving Ottawa behind. The design make you feel very welcoming and relaxing. Every little detail is thought of. About the Drinks and Food We had mostly coffee and dessert and they are very delicious. Carrot cake, tiramisu, other pastries are very good. Coffee itself is very well balanced and presented - not bitter. It is served hot which is nice. Everything is clean and the food looks clean and fresh. DD Verdict: I highly recommend Beyond Cafe in Ottawa
