I want to like this as we love supporting local shops. I don’t even mind paying the premium. For example the Lego The Force Burner Snowspeeder™ is shipped and delivered with Lego points for 54 dollars and at this shop it’s 80 dollars. The Lego mini figures are 4.99 at the Lego store and here are blue whale its 9.99 each. These are not in high demand and available everywhere. Kids allowance will go twice as far elsewhere. Charging kids twice as much is kind of a weak way to make money. High prices with a rude and not helpful staff.
When you cross the threshold, you enter a realm imagination and fun. The staff are so personable and helpful. The atmosphere is one of exploration and fun.
We love taking our daughter to this store. It has a mix of nostalgic and new toys for an overall magical experience for adults and children alike. Today we happened to be running late cutting it close to closing. Not once did the staff rush us and they were extremely helpful. We picked up a few items for our little. When we finished paying we were given two coins worth $1 off per coin to turn in next time we visit the store. If you are looking for a few great toys or want to be surprised at their selection, I highly recommend the Big Blue Whale!!
Brought my daughter in for my birthday. Couldn’t think of anything I wanted, so I figured I’d spoil the tiny person. This is an excellent toy store. Nostalgic stuff for the parents, new things for the kids, and a lot of great imaginative play and learning toys, too. We had a lot of fun looking around and she picked out a lot of cool stuff. The staff were super nice and helpful, too.
Local toy store in the heights There’s a good selection of toys - with plenty of Legos to wooden toy trains. Staff are very friendly.
