I love this candy shop, they have a wide variety of candies and a whole lot of flavored taffy. You should try the Lion bar. It's a good candy and I definitely recommend it. They have a section for the jelly beans and the chocolate peanut butter peanuts are delicious! I will be coming back to get some of that. I didn't get into the chocolate much, I was too distracted with what was around. Literally a kid in the candy store. Check it out and there's so many good restaurants in the area too.
Big Top Candy Shop on South Congress is a whimsical, circus-themed candy store filled with nostalgia and endless sweet treats! 🍭 From classic candies to unique finds, it’s a must-visit for all ages. Surrounded by tons of local shops and restaurants, it’s in a lively, walkable area perfect for exploring and enjoying Austin’s vibrant vibe. The workers there also have the most amazing energy I have ever meet and where so sweet and gave me places to visit since I am still learning my way through austin.
What a fantastic fund! This is a place I can see located right in Mayberry with little Ronnie Howard stopping in to get a milkshake and jaw-breaker. They have just about everything. Loose candy that you can buy the pound or all kinds packaged. Weird sodas, butter soda, pickle soda, bacon soda, crazy flavors. The owners were super helpful and nice. Highly recommend to stop in and get enough stuff to put you into a sugar coma!
Walking in, and you get hit by fresh popped popcorn. There was a nice variety of candies and soft drinks. They even had some sugar-free items. The store was very clean. The store was pretty busy the entire time I was there, and the staff seemed to be in good spirits.
This place is a time warp and an absolute joy and a gem! The selection is incredible and the nostalgia takes you back. It smells so good you wanna eat the walls. Janna helped me with my choices. They really were friendly and extremely welcoming and accommodating. The dark chocolate champagne truffle is absolutely a sin. Absolutely lovely atmosphere and will definitely come back when in Austin!
