Start to finish this was an amazing experience and I cannot recommend Celeste more! I do not know a lot about hair but Celeste took the time to listen to me, give me the exact cut I was looking for, and she taught me how to style my hair/what products to use. Nothing about it felt rushed, and I will now never go anywhere else! Wonderful salon with lovely people! Thank you Celeste and Blackroom Team!!!
my boyfriend has seen taylor twice, (the picture below is from his second & most recent visit) and they did absolutely phenomenal! he loves his haircut and it’s EXACTLY what he wanted. they delivered the haircut of his dreams and we would recommend taylor for anyone who wants a beautiful haircut that makes them feel like themself again! :)
I can’t say enough how grateful I am to Taylor and the time and effort she put into styling my hair. This is the very first time my hair has ever been given that level of attention and precision with my cut. Taylor really made sure that my cut would not only allow my hair to flow and fall naturally with my cowlick but would also frame my face nicely without feeling too heavy. Blackroom Salon is beautiful decorating and immediately feels warm and inviting. You immediately can the sense that the people there truly take pride in their space and in wanting every client to feel comfortable there. I’m so happy to have found Blackroom and Taylor, and can’t wait to be back for my next cut! Resident parking becomes Metered street parking during daytime hours (8am-6pm) and can be tricky to find a spot but they are there. There’s also a couple garages and lots close by if needed.
Taylor was incredible! I mean really incredible. Really really really incredible. My appointment was not rushed, there was time and consideration taken at every single point. Taylor checked in with me throughout the entire session to make sure our visions aligned. Taylor also educated me about my hair pattern and consistently adjusted the approach to my hair cut based on my head shape and hair pattern. I have not had an appointment with a hair stylist in YEARS that has been that attentive. Taylor ACTUALLY listened and made me feel safe and welcomed and heard. I went home and cried happy tears of relief because I finally feel like I found someone who gets my hair after years of searching. Highly recommended to the 100000th degree.
Taylor is AMAZING! I came in with a bunch of ideas to chop my hair so I could begin growing it out. Our consultation was so thorough and fun, we decided on a stacked bob with micro bangs, and I've never had such a precise haircut! It came out so much better than I imagined, can't wait to go back for a trim!
