I heard the owner is a retired cop. Maybe the drinks are so weak because they are concerned with liability. But as a customer, last two times I felt were a rip off. I told them of my experience last time…. Almost no kava in my drink, kava was extremely weak. This time same thing. Usually I make it myself and am very familiar with all types. After complaining hoping that last time was a bad day, I gave them another shot. Today I was served something that tastes just as weak. It tastes like about one gram of extract. Maybe it’s because it wasn’t freshly made and the kava is at the bottom of the container…. he scouped in his little tiny serving scoupe (not the most pretty way to serve from a plastic scoupe guys). from the top. But wherever it is, it’s not in my drink! The other place is a rip off, this is highway robbery.
This protein shake was great and filling. The price is also reasonable. The shop closed and I only got to go once but I really enjoyed it and was disappointed when I planned to go and saw it closed. The service was great and the woman helped me talk through which shake I wanted. If they open again somewhere I would definitely recommend.
Came in for a refreshing drink and was greeted by Chuck. He recommended some drinks and made it such a hard decision lol everything is healthy and sounds amazing . I got a cucumber watermelon drink and it was so tasty. He was nice and let me know more about the family owned business. So adorable and modern in the store. I wouldn’t mind going in on a weekend for my drink and meeting with friend or even working remote from their lounge area. Very comfortable and love the aesthetic. I will be back
Lovely atmosphere, and oh, the drinks, they are delicious, healthy, and keep me going. If you ever need a pick me up and don’t want to give Starbucks even more money, come by and get a drink here. They have free wifi, seating, great conversations and a great selection of food. They are knowledgeable about their drinks and what drink to mix for specific situations- study time, post workout, a quick pick me up, you name it.
Excellent shakes. Friendly staff and clean. I've tried the strawberry banana and strawberry cheesecake. They are delicious. The meal substitute shakes are filling and nondairy.
