I love Bloom! I always leave feeling better than when I came in and Emily is amazing at listening and intuiting what I’m looking for in a new style. I also love that they will recycle my empty product bottles. This salon (and Emily H) is the best!
I’m a recovering salon jumper. Always trying a new place… until I found Juraea at Bloom! She’s an artist. The salon is welcoming and fun. Great decor, street parking in front, snacks & drinks provided. All around great place and I’m there to stay.
I came in for a trim after avoiding going in for one because I had been growing it out. The cut ended up being a corrective cut because they said the layers needed to be blended from the last cut I had. The stylist curled my hair at the end which I was fine with (though I normally wear it straightened) but I don’t think I was able to see the state of my hair with it curled. When I went home and washed/straightened it, I realized it was really short/choppy in the front and longer in the back (still much shorter than I anticipated going in for just a trim). I was pretty upset because it had taken me so long to grow it out to that point and I honestly would’ve preferred the layers to be a bit less blended if it meant I would have been able to keep some of the length, since I was adamant that that was what was most important to me. I just really wish they didn’t go so short in the front, it looks pretty choppy/uneven now and it was thinned out so much it feels like half of my hair is gone. I really do think this was just an isolated incident (everyone seems knowledgeable/friendly and it is a very nice place!!), and I know stuff happens. Everyone was really very kind and I appreciated the welcoming environment/atmosphere. At the end of the day it isn’t the biggest deal in the world, and I’ll get used to it, I am just still a bit surprised and sad that it will take my hair so long to grow back is all.
I had such a great experience with Bloom Beauty Parlor for my wedding! Ali (makeup) and Ashley (hair) were amazing to work with—on time, organized, and so calm and fun to be around on what can be a hectic day. Ali gave me the subtle glam look I wanted that photographed beautifully while still feeling like myself. Ashley did a perfect color match for clip-in extensions to give me the volume I needed, and the style lasted all day. They listened to what everyone in my party wanted, adjusted as needed, and made sure everyone looked and felt great. I couldn’t have asked for a better team!
My wife and I got our hair done by Bloom for our wedding day last year. The sylists were great- skilled, compassionate, and efficient. They also did hair for our wedding party (we had two stylists because it equaled 10 people). I was worried about getting my mom’s hair done because she is on oxygen and can’t be around aerosols, but our stylist made it work! Thank you Bloom tream for being part of our special day!
