Rude, Unprofessional, and Repeatedly Ignoring Requests to Stop Contacting Me I’ve had nothing but negative experiences with Blue Beetle Pest Control — and I don’t even live at the property they keep contacting me about anymore. I moved out of that rental over six months ago, yet I continue to receive calls and messages from their employees regarding scheduled services for the property. I have asked multiple times — through different employees — to have my phone number removed from their records and to stop being contacted. Despite that, I was once again called today by a technician who acted as if my request was an inconvenience to him. When I politely explained that I’ve already moved and that I no longer wish to be contacted, he responded in an unnecessarily rude and dismissive manner. His excuse was that he “didn’t have the authority” to remove my name from the service ticket — as if that somehow makes it acceptable to ignore my repeated requests and keep bothering me. This is completely unprofessional behavior. It’s not difficult to update a contact record or communicate with management when someone requests removal. Instead, I was spoken to as though I was the problem for wanting my privacy respected. At this point, it feels like harassment, especially since I have made it crystal clear multiple times that I am not the tenant or point of contact for this property. What makes this even worse is that when Blue Beetle serviced the rental while I was living there, their work was careless and messy. They left sticky filler material smeared around baseboards and holes where mice were coming in, with no effort to clean up after themselves. I had to go behind them and clean up the residue myself, which completely defeats the purpose of hiring a professional company in the first place. Between their lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and total disregard for communication boundaries, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. If they treat former tenants like this — continuing to call and text long after being asked to stop — I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to deal with them as a paying customer. I strongly suggest Blue Beetle Pest Control take a serious look at their internal communication and customer privacy practices. It should not take months of repeated requests to stop receiving unwanted calls. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the company’s ethics and respect for people’s time and privacy. Note: the extremely rude and unprofessional tech I talked to last was named Carl.
I had (in my personal opinion) Taylor S. come out to my property for a rodent issue. He was so incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and problem solving forward that he made my experience incredible! If possible, I’d only like for him to come out. Not only was he helping me with my issue but providing so much education along the way. I walked away confident and more knowledgeable in so many areas. 10/10 would I recommend Taylor S. for all of your blue beetle needs!
Here at Haven we just switched pest control companies to Blue Beetle and are already seeing a HUGE improvement! Nick is such a great help with scheduling for our regular maintenance along with any add ons that pop up. Whenever we need something they are right there. Their communication is also unmatched by any other company. I highly recommend them!
The main reason for my call was to get rid of the hornets which had borrowed nest under my porch. They sprayed and said that should take care of them. The next day, same hornets were there. I had to take care of the job myself.
