We built a pool and spa with Blue Haven in the Austin area in 2021. Our pool is now cracking and leaking. Blue Haven has yet to send anyone to look at it, told us after many emails they just sent it to insurance. That was 3 months ago and we haven’t heard from anyone. Our contract states lifetime guarantee that the pool holds water, yet it isn’t.
Steer clear. Built a pool 3 years ago and had an issue earlier this year that cost $8k out of pocket because the pool leaks. Now looking at another issue that will be $12k to fix, again due to the pool leaking. Blue Haven provides a lifetime warranty but it only applies to the shell (not plumbing) and even if its an issue with the shell they refuse to give any timeline to even look at the issue or fix it because it is all done via an insurance company and not them. They also refuse to share who the insurance company is or let the home owner try to contact directly. Every leak detection professional who has looked at the issues with the pool says the builder did a poor job of building it
Two people made our experience positive with Blue Haven: Bobby and Brian. Bobby designed a pool unique to our backyard that stood out from the competition. We told him our thoughts and he translated that into the perfect design for our house, yard and family. Brian came in late in the game as a new addition and frankly, saved the day! He stepped in and got our pool completed on time and within budget. Brian communicated, which is all that I could ask for. He told us the truth and delivered on his commitments, even after everything was 100% completed. Those two gentlemen had such a positive impact on us that we named our little pool cleaner “BB” after Brian and Bobby. Thank you from all of us!
After many months of research and receiving quotes, we finally found a company that provide the best quote and had the best service. We worked with Bruce from Blue Haven Pools and he was amazing throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond to make sure our pool was built to our specifications, in the price range we were looking for, and would be finished by a specific date. Not only did he do all of that but he also worked around the clock with his crew to have our built before the timeline. They started the process at the end of May and by July 3, 2020, we were filling our pool and enjoying on the 4th of July. We cannot thank Blue Haven enough for building our dream pool! We highly recommend their services!
I couldn’t be happier we chose Blue Haven to build our backyard dream oasis. From the very start of the consultation process to the very end Bruce and the team did a tremendous job. We had several other bids and ultimately Blue Haven gave us the best value for our money compared to the other big named companies in the area. Bruce was our project coordinator and he really was the MAN who held everything together and made certain we felt comfortable through each stage in the process. If I had to do it all over again, I’d surely go with Blue Haven!!!
