If progressive assigns this company to you for a tow you'd best call progressive straight away and demand a different tow company. Wasted 2.5hrs before getting a new company that showed up promptly. Blue Star why you wastin everyone's time?

I had the absolute worst experience with this company—two days in a row they failed to provide the roadside assistance that Progressive dispatched them for. • Day 1 (Sep 30): My tow request was made at 6 AM. By 1 PM, I still had no response. When I called, I was told the driver was “on the way.” By 4 PM my car still wasn’t picked up. When I followed up again, their excuse was that their truck had broken down and they had to cancel. • Day 2 (Oct 1): I submitted another request at 7 AM. Again, no confirmation and no communication. Progressive confirmed Blue Star had been dispatched, but when I called the company directly, I got the same exact excuse: their truck had broken down. Two days in a row, the same story. What made this worse was the unprofessionalism. The dispatcher was rude, and when I voiced my frustration, he actually cursed at me in Farsi, not realizing I understood the language. He even lied about his name, calling himself “John,” which was clearly false. This is beyond unacceptable. I lost two full days waiting for service that never came, while being given nothing but excuses and disrespect. I’ve already filed complaints with Progressive and the Better Business Bureau. If Progressive continues to use this company as a contractor, customers should know what they’re in for. I would not recommend Blue Star Towing & Recovery to anyone.

3 hour wait for my tow. Pretty sure they just dropped the ball completely on the order. Nothing but a 'we are sorry' from the dispatcher. Dog water company. might as well push your car to the mechanic.

TERRIBLE! I used progressive to get a tow after theft recovery and they assigned blue star. I was on a time crunch due to the lot closing and they said 1.5 hours..that’s fine but then when i told the guy that the lot will drop my car outside can you still send someone he started telling me without a claim number i would come out of pocket. I told him that i already paid progressive and came out of pocket..then he said without progressive sending over a claim number he can’t do anything. All i needed was a tow that i PAID for. He was extremely unprofessional and just a terrible person in general.

The driver was fantastic and really looked after me. I'm quite disappointed with Tesla, as it kept breaking down and eventually shut down completely. In the past, I had issues with other companies that made me wait all day without showing up on time. However, Moe arrived promptly and took great care of both me and my vehicle, ensuring I didn't have to wait around. Excellent service!
