I had to check this place out coming from abroad. I was really surprised by how inviting this library was, since the neighborhood is unassuming. You can pick a free book, what more can you ask for? It is situated at the back of a permanent exhibition, so you have to look for it a bit.

What a gem - must visit for all bookworms 📚 If you park out front on the street enter the space through the red building and go all the way to the back. They have a great collection! The books are free but you can bring along some books to donate, buy some merch, give monetary donations, etc.

I just had to take a moment to talk about this incredible spot I found for book lovers! It’s an absolute must-visit if you want to experience a nonprofit initiative that’s truly making a difference in the community. I first came across it while Googling places to visit, and it completely caught me by surprise—in the best way possible. They recently started opening on Saturdays, which gave me the perfect chance to stop by, and I’m so glad I did. There are three main reasons why I highly recommend visiting this place—not just once, but every time you get the chance: 1. You can take books for free—Yes, really! No strings attached. Plus, they have cozy seating where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful reading session. 2. It’s a great way to support a community-driven initiative—Whether by simply visiting, donating books, or even volunteering, there are plenty of ways to get involved. 3. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the book selection is diverse—If you’ve been searching for a hard-to-find book, you might just get lucky here! They are also strong advocates against book banning, which makes the mission even more meaningful. Miami’s first and only free bookstore is definitely worth a visit—and a return trip (or several) after that😊
