Breathe Studio delivered a great experience for me through their Yoga for Stiff Men. Our instructor, Denise guided movements with clarity, patience, and a sense of practical progress. Each class helped me improve mobility, breathing, and comfort in my body. I appreciated that the focus was on growth rather than perfection, which made every session accessible no matter how tight I felt walking in. The studio space is calm and well organized. Staff are welcoming and attentive. I left each class feeling more open, relaxed, and confident in my movement. I would recommend Breathe Studio to anyone looking to build strength and flexibility in a grounded and encouraging setting.
I joined the Breathe community about 6 months ago, and I’m so glad that I did. The studio offers a range of Flow, Yin, Pilates, (and more!) classes for all levels and comfort levels. You can find classes at different times during the day, so depending on your schedule there’s something for everyone. The teachers are really kind and patient and the staff is so approachable and friendly! Everything is clean and beautiful and you feel right at home when you step in. If you don’t have your own mat, don’t worry, there are borrowable mats available here. I recommend this studio to anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to try it yet!
From the moment I walked into Breathe, I knew I was coming home. In the short time I have been part of this community, both as a student and as part of the team, I have come to see that Breathe is more than a yoga studio. It is a heart-centred space devoted to connection, care, and conscious growth. You feel it the moment you walk in: the calm energy, the warmth in every greeting, the sense that everyone truly belongs here. Breathe is all-encompassing. It welcomes every body, every path, and every pace. There is no competition, no superficiality, no sense of having to “fit in.” Instead, there is an invitation to simply be yourself, to move, breathe, and return home to what matters. Svitlana and all of the teachers pour their hearts and souls into this space. Their devotion is unmistakable, not only to the practice of yoga itself, but to the students they guide. You can see their joy in introducing yoga to others and in watching those students grow, open, and transform over time. The energy of the studio speaks for itself: grounded, alive, and full of love. It is a space where presence is felt and community is real. Breathe is not just a place to practice, it is a sanctuary for the soul, a reminder of what it means to live and love with intention. A reminder to "Breathe it all in, & Love it all out". If you are looking for a space that feels genuine, uplifting, and deeply rooted in heart and integrity, this is the place for you. A teacher and student here, and I must say, Breathe is a hidden gem in the Junction that offers a range of non-heated classes. As soon as you enter the space you're greeted by the community's warmth and energy - you can tell that members wholeheartedly enjoy being there for practice and experiencing genuine connections. Being in the space makes me feel like I'm at home in my living room (with the big windows that let in natural light, and the wooden floors), it's comforting and nurturing. All the teachers here carry so much knowledge and experience as well, guiding practices in their own colour - I always learn something new attending classes (even as a teacher). If you're looking for your community, I'd definitely recommend dropping by for a class! There is a common area to chat and have tea as well - get to know your teachers and fellow yogis!
The new Breathe space is like a perfect Yoga retreat in the heart of Toronto city! Whole place is filled with vibrant energy, surrounded by beautiful trees outside while greeted by wise wonderful Buddhas inside. It’s an amazing upgrade to the old studio, which was equally cherished for its thriving energy. There’s space for the community to gather after classes, enjoy some tea, catch up on chitchat. Plus they’ve got these exceptional locker space and a changing room. All in all, the quality of classes remains absolutely extraordinary with incredible and considerate teachers guiding you in each and every class, be it a good flow or restorative/yin! Yoga is a daily practice not just in terms of stepping into a studio but also in our lifestyles. Studio conveys that message deeply by helping us building our emotional strength, resilience, determination and discipline. Breathe studio has been an integral part of living a more centred life for me whether through it’s invaluable teachings or just showing up in a welcoming community. It’s definitely THE great place to practice YOGA in toronto city. A must check out!!!
