Amazing attention from everyone at BVSC. Special shoutout to Dr Filomena and all the vet nurses who helped us every step of the way to figure out what was wrong with our dog Chavo who ate some pit-like seeds that obstructed his intestines. Ongoing phone updates and even a photo to reassure a worried toddler about her puppy. Very reassuring and top notch attention! I wish human hospitals learned a thing or two from this team!!

What a wonderful team. Thank you all for the prompt dealing with our urgent situation & the non judgement of our predicament, which we learnt is just one of the many things that goes wrong on Xmas day & what the team there have to deal with. Natalie is great with no signs of any problems. Thank you so much

After getting no answers from a medicine specialist from the North Lakes Emergency Vets, as well as no solutions to my dogs constant vomiting, coughing and loss of appetite, I decided to get a second opinion after being told to prepare myself for EOL. I got an appointment relatively quick with Dr Darren Fry and from the get go, felt like he really cared and listened. He was reassuring when agreeing she isn't at EOL stages and was quick to suggest an Endoscope which after 8 months of pain, medications, constantly specialist appointments, thousands of dollars and all the test you could imagine, a simple Endoscope showed she had a blade of grass lodged in her nasal cavity. I will forever be thankful to the team at BVSC for ultimately saving my dogs life when a week prior I almost accepted to put her down. Please get a second opinion and I highly recommend Darren Fry and the Albany Creek BVSC team.🙏

We honestly cannot say enough good things about BVSC. Our puppy had to stay there for two nights after suddenly getting very sick, and what could have been a terrifying experience was made so much more bearable thanks to the incredible care and compassion of the entire team. Dr Sophie, Dr Lauren and Dr Jess (just to name a few) were some of the staff who looked after him and thoughtfully answered all our questions being first time puppy owners. From the moment we walked in, we were met with kindness, empathy, and professionalism. The staff truly went above and beyond, not only in treating our little guy but in making sure we, as very anxious pet parents, were kept in the loop. They provided regular updates and called to explain every step they were taking. It meant the world to us to know he was in such good hands and we were even able to visit him for a bit. What also stood out to us was how thoughtful they were about cost. Even though we have pet insurance, we had to settle the bill and we appreciate being completely aware of the full amount. They walked us through each option with transparency, helped prioritise the most important treatments, and never made us feel pressured or overwhelmed. Thanks to them, our puppy is home now and doing so much better. We will forever be grateful for their warmth, skills, and their genuine love for animals. Would highly recommend!

Words cannot express how grateful we are to BVSC for their top notch care of our 75kg, great dane cross, Franklin. Dr Mio has been unbelievably patient and kind with him when he was fearful or grumpy and always professional and knowledgeable. Dr Rod and Dr Kate have also been unbelievable, generously sharing their time and attention with tailored and specialist oncology advice and such kindness too. Even the reception staff are brilliant - always proactively doing our insurance paperwork, making it easy to change and manage appointments from the Gold Coast, remembering us and our dog when we arrive or call and just being lovely. Our dog has had much better oncology care at BVSC than some of our human family members! We truly believe we have had him with us for an extra 2 years (and counting!) thanks to BVSC and we are forever grateful - especially because he got to help us welcome our first child to the world and he has been the best big brother and night nurse we could ask for. Thank you BVSC - you guys are the best!
