I HIGHLY recommend Bull City Soles! I have been getting barefoot massages here for about 2 years now and it is truly the best massage I have ever had. I refuse to go anywhere else now. I work with Sarah Foote - she is incredible and very talented! From the beginning, she took the time to understand my health history and goals and continually checks in on my progress before each session. She tailors each massage to how I'm feeling and I appreciate how she really listens to me. She is super knowledgeable about the human body/anatomy and knows exactly how to relieve pain and which area to work on based on my symptoms. She is also extremely personable and professional. I always feel significantly better after my massage. Also, the place itself is amazing! It is very clean and is super relaxing. You can tell they take extreme care in making sure it is a calming place to be from the soothing music/sounds, relaxing smells, and overall tranquil ambience. It really feels like a spa.
After dealing with a lot of stress and digestion issues for a while, I decided to give the recovery room a shot. Julie and the staff shared a lot of information with me about the benefits of heat and cold therapy. Sauna was easy and I love the relaxation and relief I get from that. But as difficult as the first time was, contrasting with the cold plunge gives me life changing results. I’ve done it a handful of times now this past year and after sessions I get instant stress relief and it feels like a reset to my nervous system. I’m aiming to make this a consistent discipline moving forward to see what happens.
I had a total knee replacement with complications of excessive swelling. I can say that trying the cold plunge has been fantastic in reducing the swelling, increasing the circulation and reducing the muscle and joint soreness. I highly recommend this therapy for recovery and fitness.
Julie is knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate and an excellent listener. When I started the Rolfing series I was using a wheelchair if I knew I had to walk farther than the mailbox, because I was experiencing chronic pain. These sessions are painful however after the sessions I feel amazing and the cumulative effects have been profound. I am now able to do many things I could not before the treatment. I highly recommend Julie and Bull City Soles.
