Absolument épouvantable. Horrible expérience. Des erreurs, des oublis, des problèmes majeurs et multiples auprès de l'ARC et de Revenu Québec, et un manque de professionnalisme flagrant (il se fâche comme un enfant, est impoli, raccroche la ligne au nez, ne se présente pas à des rendez-vous ou est tellement en retard qu'il nous oblige à revenir...). Un an et demi plus tard, nous devons encore travailler à corriger les conséquences de ses erreurs puisqu’il n’a pas su le faire lui-même. Monsieur Brassard, respectez notre droit à donner notre avis sur vos services. Donner notre opinion en fonction de ce que nous avons vécu n’est pas une attaque personnelle. Pas plus qu’une opinion honnête est de la diffamation. La population a le droit de savoir. Respectez aussi le droit à formuler un avis de façon anonyme. Personnellement, j'aurais tellement aimé lire ce genre d’avis avant de faire affaire avec votre entreprise. J'aurais aimé pouvoir m'éviter un an et demi de stress, d’inquiétude, de temps perdu, d’efforts et de problèmes en raison de vos erreurs. Par souci de transparence envers la population, voici le courriel que vous m'avez envoyé, me menaçant directement de représailles si je n'enlevais pas mon avis: "Si vous ne retirez pas votre avis google diffamatoire envers moi, alors je vais contacter mes assurances-professionnelles pour leur dire de ne pas vous compenser!"

I had a truly awful experience working with Burt Brassard, CPA. He was careless, unprofessional, and lacked the knowledge I expected from a tax professional. Despite claiming to be well-versed in the American tax system, it became clear that he was not adequately informed. It was obvious that he took on far too many clients, which resulted in sloppy, subpar work and left me feeling undervalued as a customer and with a HUGE mess to clean up with the CRA and Revenue Quebec. In the end, hiring Burt Brassard turned out to be one of my costliest mistakes I’ve made. I would strongly advise anyone looking for quality, reliable tax services to avoid him. There are far better professionals out there who can actually deliver the expertise they promise.

Initially, I went to Burt Brassard because I heard that he speaks English and French and I wanted to make sure that I understood what was happening in relation to my taxes because I'm self employed. After meeting Burt, I will recommend him to anyone. He was so nice and inviting and friendly. He really made the experience a good one. I have no complaints. 100% recommend.
