Carolyn is a wonderful attorney and a supportive, understanding human being. I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to work with her. I spoke with several attorneys before making my decision, and from our very first phone call I could tell she was different. She did not rush the conversation or treat it like just another case, she listened carefully, understood the details of my situation, and provided thoughtful, practical advice right away. That first call lasted more than half an hour, and after it, I knew I wanted her to represent me. My divorce case was long and challenging, and Carolyn was exceptional throughout the entire process. She handled many responsibilities beyond what was expected and always remained solution-focused. At times, the mediator and the opposing attorney were difficult to work with, and there were even moments when it felt like she was doing more than her share just to keep the process moving forward. I'm not sure if I've ever written a Google review before, but I was compelled to say something here because of my wonderful experience working with Carolyn. I initially chose her because her reviews were so impressive, but I'm here to tell you that even those kind words don't come close to doing her justice. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that my divorce was the stuff that nightmares are made of. The entire situation devolved rapidly and in ways that most people would find hard to believe. However, Carolyn was there for me every step of the way, calmly providing me with intelligent and practical advice. Together, we could have easily taken the low road to counteract some of the issues we faced during the process, but Carolyn always preferred to do things the right way. That was important to me and speaks to her unmatched character. And make no mistake. Carolyn is compassionate and generous, but she can be tough and resilient when the situation calls for it. Simply put, Carolyn Goodman is one of the finest people I have ever encountered. She is a brilliant lawyer and an invaluable friend who guided me through the worst period in my entire life.
