Casa Shanti and Oasis at the Mill (same owner) are two sides of a magical coin. Their stock is diverse and ever changing. The opportunities to work with a medium, aura photographer, Tarot reader, and more is available and all readers have a long history working in the field. Their psychic fairs brings more practitioners from the surrounding community. They offer classes and sponsor workshops and events like The Witch’s Walk. The staff is knowledgeable and will honestly say when they do not know something but they will find out. I get my incense and chime candles regularly. I always check to see what cute bags and clothes, make up, and decor has come in, but I most frequently buy herbs there when I need something quick and don’t have it at home. Nicki is the store herbalist and has a great wealth of knowledge in her head about herbs properties for magick and for healing, teas, spiritual baths, etc. The crystals are high end specimens and hand picked by the owner. Lots of unusual and hard to find items in the shop for a witch’s supply cabinet and Jewelry like you’ll find nowhere else. If you are wondering if it is worth the drive to come from another city or state. The answer is yea.
As many times as I’ve been in the store, I love how there’s always something that I didn’t see before or new around the corner. Also, if you haven’t taken a class, I highly recommend it.
I had such a great experience at CasaShanti on Trade. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of character—like stepping into a magical little corner of downtown Winston-Salem. The staff were friendly, helpful, and really knowledgeable about their products. I loved the mix of crystals, herbs, books, and unique gifts. It didn’t feel like just shopping—it felt like being part of something more intentional and uplifting. I’ll definitely be back, especially to explore more of their classes and readings.
Great shopping area! A variety of spiritual gifts and items with the option for readings! Kind Assocites …Prices are a bit high but it’s fun to look and get an idea. Street parking / no bathrooms
We were walking on Trade Street and decided to stop in. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There were alot of things we haven't seen before. The store has a good selection of items to buy. Looking forward to coming back.
