Love this place it's my weekly for fruit and stables like cabbage. You really can't be the deal on apples. Every now and then you might have a gamble item but usually it all lasts as quick as my kids eat it up. I get about a week out of everything here. They have the absolute best deals on peppers as an fyi.
I had went to Chicho Boys with high expectations and left extremely disappointed. The baby carrots were way past their "best by" date by 10 days. I had purchased a Diet Coke from there and it turned out the expiration date was on September 11th 2025. Along with the expired Diet Coke that I purchased, i bought strawberries aswell and when i went home and checked the package, there was a moldy strawberry and i even spotted a tiny spider on it. Im disappointed and disgusted that a small business that promotes "fresh fruits and vegetables" is blatantly lying to our face. It is clear the entire business doesn't care about what they're selling and doesnt occasionally check the fruits and vegetables for mold/the expiration date. Don't waste your time nor money coming here, just go to your local grocery store.
This is a diamond in disguise! They have awesome fruits and vegetables here at an affordable price. If you have a chance to come out, I don't think you'll be disappointed. There's a produce market also directly across the street where you can buy in bulk and right next door to the fruit market there is a nice little Mexican restaurant. Very affordable and great food. You won't be disappointed if you make a trip out to this area.
First time but definitely not my last. I was looking for a cheaper option on fruit and produce other than HEB. This place did not disappoint. Super friendly, explained the atoreyand the cashier was also friendly. My haul was only $18. Worth the drive and this will be my go to place from now on
Our most recent haul today, fruits and veggies are just absolutely wonderful and my kids were super excited when we came home with everything. Happy kids means a happy momma ❤️ I highly recommend this place and if you receive EBT you save money here so that's a win win.
