Dr. Lu is a God sent! I have experienced chronic lower back pain for years. After listening to my sister recommending I see an acupuncturist, I went on Google and read Dr. Lu’s reviews. I decided to give him a try. At the time I was experiencing lower back and shoulder pain. Dr. Lu was very professional and he listened and treated my back with suction cups and electrical stimulation. He did a similar treatment for my shoulder. He recommended that I use a heating pad for the next 3 days on my back before going to bed. I have not had any back pain since. The pain in my shoulder has improved. Prior to visiting Dr. Lu I was seeing an orthopedic doctor for my shoulders. He treated me with steroids and initially I felt instant relief. But then after 6 months, the pain resumed and instead of seeing him every 6 months it was 5 months, and then 3 months. That’s when I knew I had to try something different. So far Dr. Lu has treated me twice for my shoulder. On the last visit he treated my shoulder with suction cups and electrical stimulation. He said I should apply some heat prior to going to bed for next 3 days. Unfortunately I am a side sleeper (probably feel better if I would stop playing fetch with my dog and not sleep on my side). But my shoulder pain has definitely subsided. Dr. Lu asked that I come once more to see how I was feeling and then, depending on how I felt, I should only see him on as needed basis. Dr. Lu has definitely restored my faith in humanity and in doctors. The previous doctor would only treat me for that specific ailment. When I would bring up other health concerns to his assistant she would immediately tell me that I needed to schedule another appointment so that they could address that health concern. Anyone that is experiencing pain should consider seeing Dr. Lu.
Dr. Lu was very attentive and kind during my treatment for a shoulder injury (ac joint). A combination of suction and electrical stimulation therapy has helped me recover. Going to him helped me recover much quicker than had I not gone. I am very thankful and definitely recommend him!
I've been dealing with neck pain and reduced range of motion for quite a few years. Tried chiropractic for a year. There was some improvement initially but was still dealing with the same issues. Felt pressured by the chiropractor to continue regular visits warning that things would worsen. I stopped the visits and searched for alternative therapy. A family member recommended I give acupuncture a try. After my first visit with Dr. Lu I felt more improvement than I had after a year of chiropractic. He used a combination of suction cup therapy and electrical stimulation to my neck and shoulders. After 3 more visits, my pain had subsided, and my range of motion had greatly improved. Rather than say I needed to come in on a regular basis, Dr. Lu recommended that I call him if/when I felt my neck was regressing. Because insurance was not covering my visits, I appreciate that Dr. Lu was sensitive to that and recommended that I visit on an as-needed basis. As for Dr. Lu, he is kind and compassionate and listens carefully to your concerns. Should I feel the need in the future for more care, I will certainly give Dr. Lu a call. If you're looking for non-traditional approaches to pain relief, I highly recommend you check out China Acupuncture Clinic in Fort Worth.
I was apprehensive about acupuncture prior to my first visit. I had been dealing with neck & shoulder pain for several weeks. I had tried chiropractic, conventional medicine & massage with minimal relief. About 12 hours after my first treatment I saw significant relief in my pain & discomfort. With each visit things continued to improve. I highly recommend Dr. Lu to anyone looking for alternatives to medications and/or surgery. Dr. Lu listens and put you at ease. There is ZERO pain from the process. Thank you Dr. Lu!!
Dr. Lu is amazing! Two months ago, I was on a cane, no feeling in my toes, and falling down several times a month. He was the first Dr. I have seen for my conditions that really listened to me. I was treated with compassion and respect. I am now able to walk without a cane and my balance has greatly improved to the point I am able to play golf again (no falls!) Dr Lu a testament to how impactful compassionate and attentive care can be. This review only allows 5 stars, he should have many more than just 5 stars. Because of him, my health and happiness has returned.
