My child has been training at Chosun for about 3 1/2 years, and it’s been such a great experience. The instructors really know their stuff, but what stands out most is how kind and patient they are. They take the time to get to know each student and how they learn best, which has made a big difference for my son. Right from the start, he felt welcomed and encouraged. Since then, he’s grown so much—he’s more confident, focused, strong, and disciplined. The consistent structure and positive support have helped him not just in class, but in everyday life too. He especially loves showing off his skills at tournaments and gets so excited about breaking boards! Master Peterson, Master Osterberg, and Master Matusiak have been amazing at helping him get ready for his black belt test—we’re really thankful for their support. We’re incredibly grateful for the way the instructors have supported and believed in him every step of the way. Their encouragement has helped him push through challenges and stay motivated, and it means so much to see him growing not just as a martial artist, but as a person. Chosun has truly been a second home for him, and we couldn’t ask for a better place for him to learn and grow.

My oldest daughter started out with a Rec Department trial, so we could see if she liked it. 2 and a half years later, she graduated from their Little Ninjas program and still loves it. The Little Ninjas is designed to help younger kids gain the their white belt knowledge at a more gradual pace and in a fun way to keep their attention. My younger daughter has now started Little Ninjas too and is having a blast. We've been impressed with every teacher that either of our daughters have had. They all show great patience, and an outstanding ability to reach a wide range of personalities. We couldn't be happier with Chosun, and recommend them to everyone!

Noah has been participating in Chosen Black Belt Academy since he was 4 years old. I started him there to get him ready for Kindergarten to help him follow directions and to work with other children. It was the best decision ever, now at 11 years old he has grown into a confident and strong young man. The Academy is like a family, with the instructors being caring and supportive. This is an important aspect and one of the reasons we are still there 7 years later.

I’ve been having a fantastic experience at Chosun Black Belt Academy. The instructors are not only skilled and professional but also incredibly supportive and encouraging. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, they make sure everyone is learning, improving, and having fun along the way. The classes are well-structured, and there’s a strong focus on discipline, respect, and personal growth—both physically and mentally. I’ve seen a big improvement in my confidence, strength, and focus since joining. I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in taekwondo.

We love Chosun! My oldest started in the white belt program about a year and half ago. He absolutely loves it! I have loved watching him work hard at training and becoming a better person. Everyone at Chosun encourages personal responsibility, respect, hard work, and self control. We have seen a huge difference in those areas as well as confidence. My other son started in little ninjas and loved it! We are so happy we tried Chosun and plan to be there for a long time.
