Always send me dog here if I'm going on holiday and he always seems happy and healthy when I collect him. Whenever I've had issues with my flight they have been able to help me. Highly recommended.
We have a ragdoll who has just turned 2 years old. She has never been separated from us so this was the first time we used a Cattery. She is a very anxious indoor female cat and was very nervous when we dropped her off. It was extremely difficult for us to leave her for 2 nights but my family is all allergic so we had no choice on this occasion. The staff are all very friendly and supportive. The cat unit was quite spacious with 2 small levels in each unit. Our cat isn't a big eater and doesn't eat properly if she is away from home, especially without us there. They did provide updates and responded to us on Watsapp which was reassuring. My main criticism is that they only seem to provide a mug of litter in the tray which is totally insufficient and terrible for any cat. We requested they fill her tray as our cat would never feel comfortable to use it otherwise. They did add another mug but it still wasn't enough at all. . We had to give her a good wash when we got home as due to being anxious and less litter in the tray she must have got a little wee on herself which is extremely unlike her. Please start providing sufficient litter in the trays for the cats which would help them use them more and keep them cleaner too. That's really awful for them and makes them dirty and uncomfortable. Was upsetting extremely for us, especially our precious cat!I
10 day stay in standard kennels for our dog. First time using them and will use them again. Hate to leave our dog anywhere but he was healthy and happy when picking him up. Nice staff and clean place.
I can’t thank Iain, Mia, and Emily enough for the incredible care and dedication they showed to Luna during the process of moving her to Australia. Taking her to the vet twice for the necessary medication was no small task, but Iain handled it brilliantly. He was patient, kind, and made sure everything was done properly to ensure her safe journey. Luna was extremely nervous at first, and it took her at least three weeks to settle in. However, thanks to the outstanding care from Mia, Emily, and the entire team, she was always safe, secure, and well-treated. Their professionalism and compassion made all the difference, and it was clear they genuinely cared about Luna’s well-being. She ended up staying for two months while we waited for her flight, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for her during that time. The quality of their work and the level of attention they gave her meant I had complete peace of mind, knowing she was in the best hands. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their kindness and helpfulness made my move so much less complicated. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a team that goes above and beyond for their animals. They turned what could have been a stressful experience into one filled with care, reassurance, and trust. Thank you all for everything Dave
A wonderful place run by Barbara and her family, along with her wonderful team. Two great dog fields as well to hire by the half hour for exercising or agility training for your dogs. The cattery is also very clean and well kept. Can’t praise Clarks Hill highly enough. Update 05/02/23 with pictures for any prospective users of the poly tunnel. With the addition of the gates on the new poly tunnel field, together with the artificial grass as a path to get your dogs on & off the field & back to your car, in this awful weather that we’ve been experiencing you can now take your dogs for a great run out without the need to bath them afterwards or towel them down to stop your car getting messed up. This is a pleasure to use and is more than worth every penny that you pay. Once again, Barbara and the family have gone way beyond the extra mile to ensure a safe haven for you to exercise your dogs. They are also in the process of adding lighting to the facility which is also a fantastic addition. Book this facility with the confidence that you & your dog(s) will have a great time. What a lovely addition this bench is for the Poly tunnel, thank you so much!!
